Have been coming here for years but sadly will not be returning until the owners take the pandemic seriously and do their part to ensure the safety of their patrons. Employees not wearing masks or gloves when handling drinks and food + no social distancing of customers. To us healthcare workers this is a giant "F-you" and I will be reporting them to the PA Dpt of Agriculture. Plenty of other small business in the Lancaster area to give my money to that do follow health guidelines and have the health and safety of their patrons in mind.
From other 1-star reviews on here the owner seems to think it is her decision whether her employees wear masks but unfortunately for her it is not. Taken from the PA Dpt of Agriculture's site: "Among other requirements, all businesses in the restaurant and retail food service industry authorized to conduct in-person activities are mandated to:....Employees are required to wear masks at all times. Provide at least six feet between parties at tables or physical barriers between customers where booths are arranged...
Read moreThis business clearly does not take the pandemic very seriously at all. None of the employees wear masks or gloves while preparing food and assisting customers. While sitting inside, I overheard the owner talking about how people who wear masks are “communist” and that they will not close even if the governor calls for another shutdown. In other reviews, they claim that they are following the proper rules during the pandemic but they are clearly not. The owner also made remarks about those who are dying of covid and said that “if someone’s dying of covid, it’s because god said it’s their time to go”. Extremely insensitive. Conversation such as this should not take place at all in a business, especially when customers are present. This is completely unprofessional and unethical behavior. I used to go here with my friends in high school, and I will never be returning. The food is overpriced and I could make better coffee at...
Read moreWant to give at least 4 stars. HOWEVER, not sure we are going to even order from Courtyard again. The food tastes great. The problem is the consistency in getting what you order. For example: today, I ordered the Bacon and Shaved Brussels Salad, which I have had before. No brussels sprouts. I called and was told they where pulsed in it. However, after dissecting and eating the salad, I am 100% sure they simply were not there. I would know; I love brussels sprouts. This is not the first time something like this has happened. Also, bacon, fig and brie special being ordered, and getting the steak and brie instead (3 times). Was told that is what was ordered, however I do not eat/like the steak so I would not have ordered it. A few other times part of food/order missing. Not sure if the issue is just when the owner/manager is not there. Of course mistakes can happen everywhere, however it should be a...
