PSA: this establishment does not sell alcohol. I would not recommend to anyone after our experience there and what also seemed to be everyone else’s. Our waitress was fast to bring water and chips but when we ordered she must have forgotten our appetizer but I never saw her again until she brought our food. Weren’t charged for it but still. The food, oh my. No flavor, not good quality, and my ten year old couldn’t even eat a taco it was so bad. So I tasted it and it was equally bad as mine. I cannot emphasize enough, how bland everything was there, and I am very sensitive to spicy foods. I got the Platellia Mexicano and it was bad. Horrible tamale with no flavor inside. Looked like it was made two years ago, chile Reno had a soggy as heck outside and also no flavor. The taco tasted like their ground beef was seasoned for hamburgers. The enchilada wasn’t eaten past one bite. Hard texture and again, no flavor. We were never offered any refills as they waitress did not come back. We don’t live in the area so I went off Google reviews as we live south of Denver by quite a bit. I can speak Spanish, like many people can, and what they were saying about everyone who was there (only five of us) was not very kind. The tables are old and looked disgusting. My kiddo isn’t a picky eater but after trying her taco, I wasn’t going to tell her to eat that. These are my personal opinions after our experience there and I will never be back. I had hoped for better as we were in the area for an event, but you live...
Read moreFirst off, I want to compliment our amazing waitress. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but she was so accommodating and patient towards my party- my husband and I, our 2 year old son, my mother in law, and my elderly aunt. (JIC management is reading this, we were in Monday 6/6/2022 in the early evening.) The chips and spicy salsa we started with were tasty and they were served with a yummy bean dip my son couldn’t get enough of. My mother in law got the tortilla soup, and enjoyed it, even though she said it was different than what she had discovered on our trip to Puerta Vallarta last summer. She also got enchiladas, which were pretty good too - since the portions are pretty big she shared with us. One thing to note is that El Valle doesn’t have alcohol- my aunt wanted a margarita and we had to wait til we got home, but no biggie. My aunt got the nachos, which she said were fantastic. After our meal she approached our waitress to let her know how good they were and that she’d be thinking about them after she goes home out of state. My husband and I split the large chicken fajitas. They were also tasty and came in such a big order we were able to take our leftovers home and make tacos out of them for 3 + a toddler a few nights later. We’ll definitely be back- so glad we decided to...
