McDonald's — Restaurant in Derby

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but here we go: I was ordering Uber eats from this location and ended up waiting over 100 minutes. The food came cold lwhich is a safety hazard and against McDonald’s standards: at other restaurants, they would throw away the food and remake it.

Also, Uber eats didn’t give me a refund for a cold big Mac, cold fries, and a warm soda with all the ice melted. Needless to say, somebody who orders Uber eats a few times a week, I would not ever get McDonald’s from this location again.

For constructive criticism, people should not rely on Uber eats for, learn to make food at home or get food your workplace cafeteria, because there’s always a chance of getting food hours late and restaurants not remaking food. For this restaurant, if it’s taking such a long time for somebody to pick up food and it’s sitting out for a very long time, throw the food out and remake it, and if you can’t do that, just cancel the order versus serving...

If I could give 0 stars I would do you know how much money I spend daily at mccdonalds ? Well the derby mccdonalds I will never spend any money ! I rather drive to Bridgeport or Stratford any mccdonalds then the ones in derby and there the same owner I get you have to take cash only because your systems are down at a certain time and no codes either but when I sit and wait around and then you finally make me use my code which I can’t use again for another 15 mins you say you can’t break a 50$ Bill at 5am until 6am I don’t understand. This is an everyday thing I go thru to get mccdonalds before work so now I will have to wake up earlier just to go to a different mccdonalds because sadly at 5am every morning they can’t give me breakfast and I don’t have time to wait for an hour. I’ve heard so many bad things about these McDonald’s in derby but said ah it’s ok until now I’m fed up and that’s not the only thing so many...

This Derby location is getting worse each time I visit. Just ordered lunch for my daughter and I at 11:30am. Nothing overly hard to comprehend, chicken nugget happy meal and a quarter pounder. I pull up and get directed to pull up past the building to wait for my food because the staff cannot keep up with the drive thru line of cars placing orders. I drive all the way home to give my daughter her nuggets to find the nugget box contains a ton of tartar sauce. No nuggets. What a bunch of inept employees. To add to my aggravation, they don't even answer their phone with me letting it ring close to over a dozen times. I will not be going back to this location EVER again. We go every Saturday. Not any more. I'm sure McDonald's corporate office will love to hear this level of customer service is occurring at this location when I call them. Looks like Wendy's down the road will have...
