7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Des Moines

My husband and I go to 7brew regularly. Always go to the one in Ankeny or on the southside and always have had great experiences and never had any complaints. Today my husband went in to order a drink for me today just 20 min ago. I sent him exactly what I wanted. It’s a new drink I saw on Facebook. He said that this short girl in ponytails was talking to her coworkers in-front of him talking about the drink I ordered. It was a Medium iced energy, blue raspberry, strawberry, lime and vanilla with sweet cream cold foam and matcha powder on top. She proceeded to say something along the lines of “I didn’t even know we had matcha” and just complaining that my husband had ordered the drink. Mind you I ordered this same drink just yesterday at the Ankeny location with no issues or complaint what so ever. First off how do you work at a place and not know what you are selling? And secondly if the matcha powder wasn’t doable that would’ve been fine but don’t go on and ramble about it to your coworkers in-front of your customer as if it was a bother. Would gladly take the tip he left back. Will not be back to this location at all, since the workers there don’t care about the customers or know what 7brew carries for drink flavors. Very...

Lots of signs for free coffee, but no free coffee. We live down the street and it’s on the way to daycare, so I’ve been wanting to try them anyway, but if you have free coffee signs I better be getting some free coffee. They had loud 2000’s music playing, so a fun vibe. They had a sign with a QR code to scan for a menu as you entered, and then no other menu signs that were easily accessible as you pull up. Like Chick-fil-A, a person takes your order on an iPad in line. My line was definitely moving faster than the other one. Their second line doesn’t go to a window, so they the cross traffic of the first line to get drinks out to the cars. Didn’t seem to hold them up too much, but I thought it would be more like the Hyper drive thru lines and one of the people walked out in front of me as I was going to drive off (she apologetically waved). The person at the window was nice and conversational. I got a hazelnut latte, my default since I didn’t have time to look at a menu. It came out pretty quickly and it was good. recently checked this new location out i’m usually always around ankeny or the southside 7 brews and i was completely disappointed with my last 2 visits to this specific location… the first incident was they COMPLETELY got my order wrong, i had ordered an iced banana bread blondie with chocolate drizzle/caramel drizzle w oat milk, tried it and it tasted like cupcake. very very disappointing to be honest. 2nd time i had ordered 2 drinks, right when the barista brought them to me they looked wrong and they didn’t have carmel drizzle nor chocolate drizzle like i had wanted, she went back and got them supposedly “fixed” but they got them wrong AGAIN. i won’t be returning to this location ever again knowing they mixed up my orders and got them wrong 2x! i love you 7brew but please get my order right! maybe 3rd times a charm? skeptical about...
