I went there for a grandmothers birthday and cannot say the quality is the same it used to be. Portion sizes were abysmal for the price, especially the chicken strip appetizer - one of them smaller by size and weight than a McDonalds chicken nugget and extremely dry.

The caesar salad has to be the worst caesar dressing I have ever had - I make it fresh at home with anchovies and a traditional recipe, and even enjoy fake caesar out of a bottle. The caesar they made themselves was extremely runny and tasted like it was 90% just water from an anchovy can. The romaine lettuce was soft, some pieces brown - and clearly not fresh. Real parmigiano reggiano was not used and it’s covered in disgusting powder parmesan.

My wife and I shared the manicotti and overall the sauce was not great and just seems cheap.

On top of this, the restaurant is designed with metal panels on the walls - which reflect and amplify sound in the small room they had us crammed in - making sound levels an unbearable 85-95db throughout the entire dinner. The ceiling and floor are also at some strange angle and it makes sitting in the room very uncomfortable.

Our server was great and fixed our order when the kitchen did not prepare it correctly and she noticed as she dropped it off - we didn’t even have to mention it.

Barattas needs to seriously revamp the quality of their dishes and fix the glaring sound and balance issues inside before I would ever...

Baratta's catered our wedding meal last week and I'm still dreaming of the smoked chicken pasta and beef tenderloin. I can confidently say that they exceeded our expectations in every way. We hosted a small wedding with just 40 guests, but the Michelle and the team made it feel like a grand affair.

From the very beginning, Baratta's professionalism and attention to detail stood out. They took the time to meet with us for a taste testing, which allowed us to customize the menu to our liking. On the day of the wedding, the food was served on time before the ceremony, stayed warm, and was absolutely delicious. It was clear that the caterer used only the freshest ingredients and cooked each dish to perfection. They even made a special meal for my BIL that has a strict dietary restriction.

But it wasn't just the quality of the food that impressed us; it was the entire experience. The staff was attentive, courteous, and accommodating to our guests' needs. They worked seamlessly to ensure that everything ran smoothly, and they even took care of the setup and cleanup, leaving us free to enjoy our special day.

Overall, we would highly recommend Baratta's to anyone looking to host an event. They truly served up the best food we have ever had, and their attention to detail and professionalism made our wedding day unforgettable. We can't thank them enough for their hard work and dedication to making our day so special.

Food taste good- I have had a 5 star rating for this restaurant for very long time. I've always had a great love for this restaurant - before ratings and social media was a thing--- and it turns out.. that I and my family along with close friends have been getting sick from the take out we order quite often... Thru all the investigation with where the sickness is coming from it seems that if you order the fettuccine Alfredo w chicken breast- the very tasty soups. -- you end up getting I'll.. we have ordered so much from there.. it's multiple times a week we were ordering take out.. and I hate to say it!!! It totally breaks my heart!! But if you've also had taken out and was sick that very night into the early morning hours-- .. I've pondered on even putting this post out , but that's only right of me to do.. I have never had to write this kind of post for a restaurant.. Baratta's has definitely been a staple in my life time.. it breaks my heart.. but I will no longer be getting ill like that- it's so extremely painful! I had no idea food poisoning was that intense!! I'm truly sad to...

We went here for dinner, and I have to say that I was a little disappointed. The food here is pretty pricey, and so I was really hoping for it to be very good. I started with the pepper cheese soup, which came with my meal. I'd expected a cheese soup with a little pepper flavor, but they had far too much pepper in it, and it was all I could taste, really. This even impacted my actual meal, as the flavor of the pepper lingered. I got the steak de burgo, and while it was cooked to the doneness I like, and the sauce was quite good, the first half of it was a bit ruined by the fact that I could still really only taste pepper on my tongue because of the soup. I also got this with a pasta side, and the sauce tasted like something that was store-bought, which was okay but definitely not the quality I'd expected. My wife got the chicken pesto pasta, and she said it was good, though I didn't try it. I would like to recommend this place, but it's honestly difficult to say how good the food is from my perspective due to the soup causing so much of an issue for me.

First visit on a Saturday evening at around 630. Party of 4, 3 adults and a child. Super short wait- maybe 10 minutes for a table. Space nice and open and clean. The gal that took our drink order quick and friendly and efficient. Here's a breakdown: Appetizers (cheese sticks/shrimp) 10/10 Salads 8/10 Soup 6/10 Drinks 7/10 Steak 2/10 Ribs 5/10 Fried chicken 10/10 Onion rings 8/10 Fettuccine (adult & child version) 8/10 Chicken Picatta 5/10 Cake (lemon/carrot) 10/10 Service 9/10 Atmosphere 8/10 Price 6/10 The steak was so tough it was hard to chew. The picatta was drowned in lemon sauce in an overpowering way. The cakes were the best things I've had in my life, as was the bang bang shrimp appetizer. House garlic dressing very yummy. They were busy, so that for sure went into our level of service. Portion sizes generous. I felt overpriced, yet I know prices for EVERYTHING have increased. We may try again someday on a week night or for lunch. It was an occasional 'splurge' outing with family, so I am glad we gave a local place a try.
