Margaritas Mexican Buffet & Catering — Restaurant in Des Moines

Don't GO!!!!!! We went with 4 adults and 3 children. Children under 10 years old. We sat down and the waitress took our drink order. So we went through the buffet line. Several choices. Most of the food was luke warm or cold. Only 2 other people in the restaurant. Waitress never came to the table to ask if we needed anything. When we were ready to leave she said pay up front. As grandpa I paid for the meal. They automatically charge a 18 % gratuity for groups of 6 or more. WTH !!! They should be glad that anyone showed up to the restaurant. I tried this mexican buffet restaurant not too long ago for the first time, food is really really good, very authentic, they have a lot of variety and the desserts are pretty good as well... service was good, the only downfall is that inside the restaurant is cold ! Great place to enjoy the atmosphere! The food was VERY authentic! And it's a TRUE BUFFET!! They also gave me a FREE $16 Mother Day drink!!! Waitresses were great! I'm unsure how the food should be to others as I am unfamiliar with authentic Mexican food sonic could only rate the food to my personal experience BUT it could just be because I may not like authentic Mexican food.
