What a great little place to stop. First time customers and we were 100% happy with the food and service. Taco Tuesday specials and nice little margarita special. We had soft shell and hard shell tacos, tamales, chips and salsa, and of course the margaritas. Food came out fast and hot. We were offered some different sauces to try and wound up buying some of the avocado sauce to take home. A delicious spicy and creamy sauce. The server, I’m so sorry we didn’t get his name, but was awesome and checked back often to see if we needed anything. They have great specials on several different days. They’re located in the old Tavern restaurant and it use to be a tenderloin place too. Simple interior, great food. Went at around 2pm. Some good history at that location.

I really liked the food. This restaurant has no AC and one guy in the front of the house. I felt really bad for him, as he was running around with no real idea of who had what or what was ordered. The attentive nature was just not present here. The one guy I saw was very kind and friendly but just not who I would say should be in front of the house. Of the Mexican food in the area, it is one of the best I have had. The Jamaica was particularly well made and seeing it on a menu tells you the place is legit. Fix the AC, and up the attentiveness to your team, which likely means adding another person up front, and I think it would be a solid hit.

We used to come to the previous restaurant "El Ranchero" and were disappointed they closed 😔 but we are extremely pleased 😀 with the new one. Greeted, with a smile, as soon as we walked in. The chips and salsa were delicious. I usually have to add salt to make flavors come out more but I didn't need to. The food was delicious. Very friendly and attentive. The only thing is we would have liked to have some English on television for the people that don't speak Spanish and without a child running the remote while he waits for mom to get off work. Plus there is alcohol served so he shouldn't have been there anyway. Other than that it is amazing new establishment and...
