Westlake Donuts — Restaurant in DeSoto

I come to this donut shop quite often since it’s convenient to my location. Yesterday I went in to purchase donuts and I inquired about the character donuts in the glass. I asked the Hispanic lady at the counter how often the donuts were renewed in the glass and she assured me everyday. No one wants old donuts (well I don’t). This morning I go in to purchase more donuts and I notice that the donuts in the glass look like the exact same donuts from yesterday except maybe a few were missing. So before making a purchase I asked her if they were the same donuts from yesterday. She gets offended and seems upset and proceeds to explain what their process is as far as the character donuts. I asked her why she seemed so offended or upset because I noticed her tone had changed and the attitude in her body language was sassy. She responded and said it was because I kept asking the same question. She also said that it was “common sense” and that I should know that they switch them out daily. Excuse me?…So me asking a question or having an inquiry about items I choose to purchase is offensive or upsetting? Even though I’m not an employee there I should just KNOW that the donuts are switched out daily because that’s just “common sense”? She lacks customer service and she’s offended way too easily. I will no longer purchase from this donut shop again. I mean, I think it would only be “common sense” for me not to spend my...

They have the best Cinammon twists ever. I come early and they end up almost out everytime. Very popular..a little too much flaky icing for me so I just sprinkle water on top and stick it in toaster oven for several seconds and take paper towel and press off the over layer of icing and it's nice and warm and gooey. Nice and friendly always. But the downside is if u come anytime 7 and after there stuff is cold. And they dont ask if u want to heat it up. But that's ok I dnt complain and just heat..it back up when I'm home. I cant go there every day. It's like 2 times a mth or I'd lose my nice thinner figure. But it's nice to treat ur self to something warm and savoury in ur mouth to start ur morning and it did that for me today even though they only had one left I had to run to 2 donut shops. But this place out does the other in my area closest to me. Write a review I'm sure all appreciates a lil feedback too. Kudos to Cinammon twists! Westlake...

I was with a group of crazy teens ( 40 in total ) and they Handeled every single one of us amazingly, we even hade a little accident in which a girl broke a glass coffee drink and they continued to calmly serve us and clean up the mess. Along with us they still served regular customers at the same time. I WOULD HIGHLY recommend going there it’s perfect service...
