Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Detroit

I’m very distraught after eating food here!!!!!!! after almost 33 years of service they have lost a dedicated customer. My mother used to be A very loyal customer here then in the recent years, so have I, But things have changed today. They serve Rotten chicken With Disgusting customer service. we ate chicken here i purchased the 10 piece for 12.99 fries and a drink. But we couldn’t even finish one piece of chicken (There was five of us disgusted ) I brought back five. It was disgusting. It tasted like burnt plastic It’s as if they added a chemical to the chicken to hide the rotten chicken, it’s as if they didn’t change the oil. They neglect every single thing for Customers. Again, I repeat this food, tasted like rotten burnt plastic. The smell stuck to my hands It’s horrific. My total bill was $22. I tipped one of the employees two dollars (for the small pieces of chicken). He gave me. 3 pieces were just crusted flower and no meat. Enjoy this review, you can’t take it down and you can’t pay me off to delete it. This review will sit on Google for a very long time And hopefully this will help train your employees better.

Placed an online order 1/6/2022 and paid for it, upon going to the restaurant to pick it up we noticed that the doors were locked. We knocked and knocked several minutes before a staff member appeared and motioned that the store was closed. 1.5 hours before their closing time!!! I understand that with the pandemic, stores are closing early so that's understandable. However, they should not be accepting online orders if they aren't opened. Also, the store's phone number goes straight to voicemail! The following day, we returned for our purchase or a refund after being informed by the staff the previous day to return at 1100 am when they were opened. Not only were the doors again locked at 1130, but upon knocking several minutes AGAIN, we were informed they would not open until 1pm, and to return. I stated to the staff member that I just wanted a refund. They were not accomodating, nor did they care. I left and immediately called Church's Corp. Churches Chicken is the best place to go if you like good ole fried chicken. I believe churches chicken to be much better than KFC Kentucky Fried Chicken. Churches Chicken is perfect in everyway, not to greasy, not all dried out, and churches chicken, chicken skin is perfect, as for KFC's chicken the skin is to hard specially the extra crispy chicken from KFC🍗. Also, Churches Chicken sells Okra and I love okra with good chicken. With all honesty, I would highly recommend Churches Chicken especially to all chicken lovers.
