Hibachi Me — Restaurant in Detroit

I'm sorry, but I have no clue on what food everyone is talking about because I am VERY disappointed in the food. I understand when I arrived they were having a "fire" issue, per the owner. However, for the amount of time I waited....close to an hour and the amount of money I spent, a little over $30, I was expecting FLAVORFUL FOOD! Besides the basket of fries I saw sitting there before I placed my order....which I believe was served to me an hour later (the fries taste old, hard, and like it was cooked in burnt grease). The "alfredo" had no taste and the consistency was if someone warmed up water and flour together on a stove and just threw some pepper on it. No taste of Alfredo was present. THE CHICKEN, the cook didn't season at all....like at all....extremely bland as if he just chopped the chicken up and grilled it and that was it. Look, I know things happen and it seemed this was a rushed job since the fire went out, but still, cook it like you're making it for yourself or your family. So disappointed. The rice was the only thing that had the "hibachi" taste & flavor on the plate, smh. I wish the owner the best though at least he was courteous. Probably needs another cook...

Shout out to the new kids on the block! After seeing these guys blow up over fb and IG decided today was the day to try them out. This is a food truck located in the parking lot of dollar general off Martin/Michigan Ave in sw detroit. They have 2 shifts and two spots that they setup on. First being in SW and the 2nd spot being in Dearborn but haven't been to that one. Now onto the food, Angel took my order and Dave made it..wow is what I have to say! This little truck means business and the surprising part is they offer halal meet - which is important if you're trying to maximize your customer base being Muslim dominant in Wayne county. Went with the 3 meat combo which is shrimp, salmon and chicken over fried rice n veggies. Was pretty impressed as the food was very fresh hot off the grill on to your plate. This is basically Benihana on wheels on a budget. Prices are about where they should be for what they're offering as seafood is expensive no matter where you go. Officially my new little shop on wheels to keep returning to. This is a must visit if you're a seafood fan...

The pictures and videos says and shows it at all. I recorded them I called them and told them I just placed a carry out and you guys gave me someone else is order this isn't what I ordered..they said come on down we'll exchange it out for you, they wanted a receipt even though it was from there clearly, then he goes and says so many mohamads.call and place a order it happens, like I'm sorry there wasn't even a line ? When I called in the order was Moe? And let's talk about how overcooked the veggies were bro you guys cook the veggies and have them in a steam table all day, lots of food poisoning is gonna come out of this truck I've already contacted HD. My uncle actually owns many Leo's coney islands and he knows lots of people, I informed him about the situation and this place is gonna get a pretty rude awakening the next few weeks. If you wanna throw away ur money, get over burnt food and get disrespected then com down to these...
