1st impressions are everything. I called in and order 1/2 pd shrimp with 4 wings.They said 10 minutes. I put my coat on got in my car and drove 3.5 miles to the location. Was no parking although the have a parking lot, there were construction trucks in it. I go in walk up, i was greeted. I said i ordered over the phone she says whats ur phone #. By this time its 15minutes has past. I give her my # And pay for my order. This she says it eill be ready shortly. Ok. Its been 20 minutes and its not ready so i stand there and wait with at least 7 other people. Mind you there are orders in the pass. So people coming in im still waiting. There are only 2 people working here. So 1 or 2 orders go out and now its been half and hour. So the cashiers go and help the cook without washing her hands. After a few minutes she comes back and takes 2 new orders. And pass out to orders. Im still wsiting this is 40 minutes. I ask A lady is they always this slow snd look how many orders are up in the window. Lady says not really.So i wait lady gets her order, gentleman thst was already inside still waiting now its 45 minutes from time i called. I say i hope thats not my food sitting in the pass. Lady comes to register. Takes an order over the phone. Bag up an order thsn bag up another order and calls me over. Hands me my food and i immediately say i hope its 🔥 cause the bag been sitting in the pass. I reach my hand in i feel very little heat i pull out a shrimp. Its Cold. I stand there eaiting for cashier shes in the bsck helping cook again. Now its 50 minutes. I say im never coming back. I leave. This is my first impression of a new black owned carryout restaurant. They need to hire more people the food was good although my shrimp were cold my chicken was very 🔥. It took almost sn hour to get my food after calling in my order. Read moreThe experience has always been great customer service and food has always been well seasoned and cooked just right. However I took a break because one day when I order my usual Orange Roughy/Shrimp dinner because the fish tasted like an ammonia and little to no seasoning. ok things happen I get it. so while I took a break and visited in the new year I decided that I would give them a try again.so I just order the shrimp dinner instead. The shrimp batter was kind of falling off shrimp. Almost as if the shrimp was pulled from the grease too soon. I know this as well because the batter had a little mush in the inside. so not done. So it may be some slacking in the kitchen, it would be great if this problem can be fix because I know y'all can do better because I have had better from this restaurant. Thanks. Read moreMan this place is so delicious What makes them a cut above the rest is the extra touch that they do with everything and the fish and fries are always good The grease is never bad It's amazing how many times I've come to this place and have never gotten bad grease like when you go to other places and you have that rancid grease taste We already know that the fried food isn't good for us but at least when you do. It's good and not saturated in Grease also it seems like it almost can tell depending on the day of the week when I get my food that there's a different person cooking the shrimp are always excellent but I know today my fish wasn't a seasoned as it was earlier this week.
