I went to this coney island last night 07/22/24 around 10pm . I ordered a stirfry with shrimp and chicken and extra onions. I got home and prepared to eat and realized they didn't de vein or take the tails off the shrimp. I took it back this morning 7/23/24 and told them what happened and they said they have never got a complaint about the tails and veins in the shrimp and they said that's the way they come and u have to ask for them to be removed . I said well you should have a sign that you sell the shrimp with veins and tails so the the customer can choose. They said people have to ask for it when they order. I explainedvat most places this is standard to remove them and they said they don't see why but they don't do all of that unless the customer asks. The meal was $28 and I asked not for a refund but a breakfast instead of a refund and they went back and forth with me about giving me a $15 breakfast and eventually agreed . I asked for a manager and they said it was not one there . As soon as the cook went to the back a white lady came out and talked to them Good and went back to the back. Because the cook was upset and didn't want to cook me another meal she kept me waiting for the breakfast I ordered as compensation 35 min. Then the cook kept looking around the corner while I was waiting to see if I would just get mad and leave . I didn't eat the breakfast because im sure she prob did something to it but I will never go back. They don't take care of their customers that give a legitimate complaint. Read moreStopped by on my way home ordered a cheeseburger deluxe added chili and cheese on the fires. Got all the way home and no chili was added to the fries. I called the store and asked for a manager the young lady in the phone said she was the manager. I explained to her that the fries were not correct. She said I would have to come back to get it corrected. I asked if it was possible that they could just credit me the difference that was payed for the chili she said no I would have to return the food for that to be done. I explained to her I had gotten all the way home and it was a bit of a drive she said “there was nothing she could do” because she didn’t know if I was telling the truth or not. I replied I would call just to say it was chili ma’am why lie about something so simple. She then said I had to bring all the food back. I then said it wouldn’t be tonight she said well when you bring it back they can correct. I just out done all around I passed several Coney Islands on my way there and could have spent my money and wasted 30 minutes of my damn time to patronize some other establishment....
Read moreFirst of all thank you for the great customer service. It takes a lot these days to find workers who come to work and who actually cares about their job. I came in thursday around 9:30pm I believe & The young lady assisting me with braces & a ponytail was very informative and polite I must say because it seems as though she was thee only employee available to take orders and she did efficiently and fast while still educating me on the items I asked. I appreciate small gestures like that because I don’t always know what I want. She knew what she was doing. You guys were a bit busy at the time but if she was overwhelmed I couldn’t tell. Very organized in taking everyone’s order and communicating with me how long it would be. I ordered inside but opt to pick it up through the line & it moved very quickly.
