Jordan's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Detroit

On 3/2/25 my husband and I went to the Jordan restaurant in Detroit on Michigan Ave. We went for breakfast.We got our table and menu. It took about 20 minutes before anyone came over to our table. Our waitress was Carolina. She took my order first then my husband’s. He is telling her what he wants and she is arguing with him. He keeps telling her and she keeps arguing. She finally gets it figured out which all she had to do was add another egg to the special number 2. Our food gets ready and she brings it to the table and slams the plates down. My husband ask her to please bring more coffee she walks away. The lady that brought the menu to the table I asked her if she was the manager and she said no and walked away. When I saw her again I told her I want to see the manager. She comes back and says now get this he said tell her what’s wrong because he is busy. How are you so busy that you can’t see what’s going on with your customer? What kind of business is you running? I know that girl didn’t tell him nothing so nothing will be done about this situation. If she has done this to us she has done this to other people too. The waitress was at another table giving them coffee and she came to our table 25 minutes later to give us coffee. She never asked us how was things. She didn’t ask us nothing. I got the half order of pancakes and only ate one because they were nasty. We went there 2 weeks ago and had breakfast and I got sick. I been going there for 15 years and my husband been going there for 25 years. I have never been treated like I was treated today. I won’t...

IF IT AIN'T BROKEN DON'T FIX IT, YOU LOST YOUR INFINITE MONEY GLITCH

New Review: A mockery of what it was once was, i respect the original owner's wishes but this place is practically a joke, I don't Care if it's a mexican/American Restaurant but 95% of the food is Hispanic with very little American food like the chicken parmesan, The place is a rip off to Mi Pueblo, even the new design is a rip off, Father wanted extra bacon strips but guess how much it cost? 4 dollars for merely 3 strips which are most likely to he small trips, If you want Mexican food go to Mi Pueblo's which isn't a mockery and a copy, a place who started as a Mexican restaurant and stayed a Mexican Restaurant, all I'm really asking is for them to bring back chicken parmesan and all the most best selling food items

The fact they didn't keep them was a shot to the foot.

To the owner, just hire back the older workers, or at least balance the Mexican food with American Food

I ordered the soup of the day, which was lentil soup (thursdays), and the chilaquiles. Their chilaquiles come with no egg already unlike other Mexican restaurants, which I prefer and usually have to ask for without. You can add eggs or meat for an upcharge though if you’d like. I also love that they use queso fresco over shredded white cheese like other local Mexican restaurants. I much prefer the taste and texture of queso fresco.

It was my first visit after the renovation and I absolutely love it. Very cute environment. Love the Spanish music, really set the vibes.

My only slight negative was the use of Fabuloso to clean the neighboring tables. The smell completely filled my nostrils and stomach, which thankfully I was nearing the end of my meal.
