Today, I tried this place because I am proud it is Black owned. However, my food experience was NOT good at all. I ordered the chicken fried rice for $8 and 4 teriyaki wings for $12. The wings tasted as if they just threw them in some grease and then drowned them with Gordon Foods teriyaki sauce. My rice didn't seem fried at all, and it was heavily drowned with some kind of garlicky flavor. Now, I give new businesses the benefit of doubt, and I call them to give feedback from a customers perspective. When I called and mentioned the same concerns I named above, I was told, well, this is how we do it here. We don't use much soy sauce to fry with our rice. If you want more soy sauce, it's in the bag. I mentioned the overwhelming garlicky flavor and was told well that's how we do it." OK, I WILL NOT BE BACK, and this is why. As a new business, why not say sorry for the experience you received today, I will talk to our management team about your concerns. I would have gone back to see if you corrected my concern, which meant I would've been a returning customer. Now, I'm not a...
Read moreThe wife and I ordered lunch chicken fried rice and lunch chicken and noodles with an order of chicken egg rolls.... The woman at the counter gave us the wrong food, so we returned it within 2 minutes. During this exchange, we made them aware of the fact that the steak fried rice was not what was ordered and that they left out the egg rolls. The man(nephew of the owner) that was behind the counter told us that the lady did not ring in the egg rolls at all. Letting them both know that egg rolls were for sure added to the order by giving them the total that was paid. The man then told the lady to put the order on the screen to "show them" why it wasn't. Before he walked away, he asked if we wanted to pay for the egg rolls. Why when they already were paid for?! She hesitantly put the entire order on the screen proving the point of the egg rolls being ordered. We just wanted EXACTLY what was paid for. In addition to them basically insulting my intelligence, the noodles were spaghetti noodles....not what I was expecting going to a hibachi establishment SMH...
Read moreFood is good, but their prices are way too high for what u spending and getting. U have to be on them about the steak temperature if u prefer ur steak cooked to a certain temperature. The quality of the meat (steak) has decreased (and way less meat) post pandemic, steak way to chewy and not tender enough. I do support them sometimes when i just don't feel like driving far because it's a Black own business, but they have to do better with what ur getting for the price ur paying. The salad is good, but never enough salad dressing, u ask for extra, its a arm for Xtra anything after spending ( $35 or more for 1 MEAL, 2 Meats)They have too much competition for Hibachi grill. The Hibachi grill on Vandyke & 14 mile, just to name one, u get more variety of food, and more food for the price and its way cheaper with Great tasting food, and it's a all u can eat Habachi or u can just pay for carry out, all are still cheaper and Good. This is my experience everytime I...
