Horrendous!! Avoid at ALL costs. This place was a noghtmare! The drive through lines were SO backed up, that I parked and entered the building. There were 3 customers. One worker was cursing a co worker and then exited the building, leaving the register unattended with customers standing. One father, who had apparently been waiting on his young daughters breakfast, for 20 minutes, kept trying to get someone's attention. A couple of people just gave up and left. One was standing in front of me in line and the other entered, viewed the madness that was ensuing, turned on his heels and exited immediately. Folks requesting their orders were met with indifference or ignorance. None of the young women present were wearing hair nets, most wore no discernable uniform. When the father asked about the wait time for his hungry child's meal, one horsehair ponytailed young lady, wearing a tracksuit like outfit, with the word, 'PINK' inscribed, rolled her eyes at him and turned her back from his question. He chastised her regarding her behavior towards the customers and SHE began engaging him through the plexiglass. WHO DOES THAT?? She continues with her comments & eyerolling WAY beyond the point where even a fool would shut their mouths. Even after being warned that she didn't know who she was dealing with, which is usually a take cover moment, in the city-- she STILL made an another comment---from BEHIND the protection of the plexiglass. The young man who kept bringing wrong orders to the front, would ignore the patrons questions regarding THEIR food, as if he was above acknowledging their existence. The father gave up and demanded his money back, having wasted at least a half hour and took his hungry child along. He complained about the disrespectful workers and the lack of service to one woman who I believe had a shift managers badge affixed to her shirt. She disappeared as quickly as she had appeared from the bowels of the restaurant. I placed my order, and questioned the location of the tea dispenser, as the order taker slid a cup to me thru said plexiglass opening. She tells me that the tea was behind the counter and I question her regarding the cup, then begins telling me I'd placed 2 drink orders, which I had not. She insisted and I stood my ground. In the meantime, other customers began registering their displeasure regarding wait attitudes displayed by the workers and one engaged the woman in the light-blue-badgeless-not-a-McDonalds-uniform attire. I was out of earshot, when the conversation began, so I can't identity her. He was relaying how disrespectful the staff was and she told him that 'It is the first of the month, he should under stand'. He replied that he had to work during the first of the month, too and that her workers needed to be counseled. She checked HIM as he continued to suggest that she get her workers in line. She lost it as he began stating that she should learn to lead by example & it was no wonder the employees function as they do. She began shouting to staff about his order, that they should hurry up so she could get him out of her store and then began complaining that another customer was taping the altercation and she wanted them to get the hell out of the restaurant too, because that was against the law... Seems she knows EVERYTHING, other than how to run a restaurant efficiently, how to adhere to basic sanitation and food preparation laws and how to MANAGE her employees. I have never seen such hoodrat mentality exhibited by someone who is supposedly in a managerial position. Oh, she was no spring chicken, either. She was still screaming about getting those people out of the restaurant when I left. Not a good look for McDonalds OR the owner of...
Read moreVery disappointed. Extremely Frustrated. Horrible experience.
The night started off with me ordering Uber eats around 10:30 this evening. It was scheduled to arrive at 10:55 but did not arrive until 20 minutes later. Wasn’t sure who was at fault, Uber or McDonalds, but just opening the bag was upsetting. When the order arrived, half of it was missing and the other half inedible it was so old and wilted. Cold and tasted like plastic. It was missing a whole meal and two drinks, along with my pies. I called the McDonald’s and immediately asked for a manager. He told me that I’d get a credit toward my next order but my problem was that I was hungry.. this now being at least an hour from my original order. I was Frustrated with the horrible quality of the call and the fact that “Cedric” kept yelling and helping other people while on the phone with me, then put me on hold but I could still hear him talking to other people and another manger. I did my best to explain the situation to him. My roommate then had to drive to the location, defeating the whole purpose of ordering delivery, just to get the rest of the food. The second round of fries was just as bad at the first, rubbery and wilted. The chicken snack raps looked over cooked and - not an overstatement- had the texture of cardboard. I couldn’t even swallow the first bite. Looking inside it was dark brown like they had cooked bad meat, definitely revolting. I haven’t even looked at the pies... the only good note was the pop. That at least was done correctly. This is very disappointing, I wish it wasn’t the closest one, seriously considering never returning to this location. Service and meal had much to be desired. Is it too much to ask to not get sick off of the food? My stomach is rumbling out of hunger and my brain is hating that I just spend money on a meal headed straight for the garbage. I have pictures and I hope I’m able to share them in the future because they are ghastly. However I’m not sure how to add them to this review. I’m just praying they take better care of peoples food in the future.
Stay safe. Stay...
