I called in my order (I was riding by after my ritual Sunday morning shopping so I called it in waited 5 went inside) a breakfast special... eggs over easy hashbrowns fried...hard..hard hard hard hard, toast bacon sausage. I asked for my total she smacked her lips. I guess I gasped and she stated oh no I wasn't getting smart...somethings wrong with our phone. 👌okay. I received my total and how long and hung up. (Sidenote)So I stated hard several times because I know Coney hashbrowns are brown on the out and white inside. I arrive inside and two people are at the window. Cashier and order taker( lip smacker)...she never asks may I help you ..she pretends to be on the phone. The other assists and I say pick up for Dawn.. pay for my order with a 20 and state " can you be sure the hashb are brown brown brown.Cashier stated yes gives change. I sitdown. Placed is packed with customers sitting and eating on the other side of the glassed partition. I sit on the other side and wait.. Customers are coming and going picking up call in orders and placing orders. 25 minutes later I go to the window and sit. The lip smacker says have you ordered? Knowing damn well she has been looking at me all the while. I repeat pick up for Dawn she reaches over and picks up my order..which has been sitting. I ask her was it just sitting there she looks dumb sits it down and walks away. I open n look white hashbrowns and eggs damn near scrambled. All the while cashier is there and the lip smacker She goes up to the cook area and says she didnt ask for this and begins to repeat my order all wrong. So Instead of me waiting any longer I ask for my funds back. They don't provide me with a correct refund I had to inform them the refund wasn't correct. Just a full all out PISS SHOW. Then the cashier tells me Mgt is busy...cooking...so didn't they hear the whole exchange?? Just poor service probably all under the influence of IGNORANCE or Drugs. I'd rather Eat MCDonalds breakfast than spend my money...
Read moreBad customer service. Walked in with a baby. Normal restaurant waitresses would immediately bring baby seat or ask. This lady brought menus and ran off. She came back with waters asking am I ready to order and I asked for a baby seat I don't see how she didnt think I needed one anyway I have a one year old in my hand wrestling with him trying to get him not to grab stuff and she talking about am I ready to order. Smh I asked for the baby seat she said yea hold on . Proceeded to keep serving her other tables for about 5 minutes before she brought it . She's a woman I'm sure with kids and even with out any I would expect her to understand. Dirty tables. Move the pepper and salt holder. I bet you it be dirty AF cuz they just wipe around them. I know because I had to move everything so my baby wouldn't grab it. Probably with a dirty towel . Horrible atmosphere. Didn't even get to the food I walked out when she took all day with that baby seat . Would've went to Leo's or something only reason I gave them a chance is because I had things to do in the area within the hour . That's what I get. Read moreI have been going there for years like for years and years. 20+ years I have been kind to everyone and never had any type of issue. But for two waitresses to ice us out after they decided to have a conversation and then ask other people to take our tables like we do stuff to them Was very off putting. I get that this is a so-called Hood Coney Island, but to watch a waitress service, the entire diner and then turn around and ask someone individual to take us was really odd. So after 20+ years, I will not be back there and I’m pretty sure they won’t miss the money But the behavior was disgusting and unprofessional. As a person who served in the service industry for over 20 years herself, I would never even treat anyone like that. When I called up there to speak to the boss, they said she was the only one to speak to, and that I would have to call back later. Again, this is with a person I have never had issue with no bad words no nothing and she could’ve easily talk to us if there was something wrong.
