This location is in Northwest Detroit, and you would think it would be a nice carry-out restaurant to go to. I've been here before and had issues as well. The quality and quantity of food isn't the same at this location as it is in the Downtown Detroit and Southfield locations. They give you less food portions and I was overcharged...for the small portion I ordered. This is a "HOOD" spot..and it's we'll know throughout the city by just that when talked about as a foodie choice. Lines out the door USUALLY mean that the food is GOOD. That's an understatement for this location. The lines and crowds are from terrible customer, slow cashier's, slower grill cooks, and VERY POOR MANAGEMENT!!!! I'm NOT bashing them, but just giving an HONEST and Fair customer review of a LOCATION that DOESN'T live up to the Brand and it's other more premier spots. In my opinion, if you DON'T want to work in a service based business and offer supreme customer service to patrons....and have an bad attitude, your uniforms of ALL employees are dirty, are on your phone texting or talking while you should be helping hungry customers, or if you have over the counter at home hood drama...and don't know how to be a professional....Please quit and give this nice job, hat you hate so much to one of many more deserving people who REALLY NEED TO WORK to feed their families. Give them a chance at employment. To Senior Management: Please STOP allowing your BRAND and Reputation for Consistency be ruined by people with a hood element or mentality. Hire professional people. No pun intended. Today's $25+ dollar carry-out meal...Looked like a big kids meal....when did you guys start this? I hope that MANAGEMENT or the OWNER(S) take note of this review and many other reviews that get quickly tossed to the side...like our experiences didn't or don't matter. Or that we are just disgruntled or angry customers. Not the case here. This is my 5th time trying to give a small local business a chance. This location and it's employees on any given day of the week or month that I've gone there for someone else or myself... YOU'VE LOST A CUSTOMER...Actually more... because there were three of us...and we all felt the same. Lastly, to Senior Management...all that many and profit you're making...and on one of the hottest days we've seen this summer/July 3, 2019...your air wasn't working..and your lobby was hotter than the heat outside...and NOT one fan or portable air conditioner to help ease the experience of your customers!!!!😶💯👎 We were told..."The roof was leaking...so that's why it was hot inside the lobby!"🤥🤬🙈🙉🙊 SMH. Spend the money to fix WHATEVER the problem is. This is one fan f the many reasons WHY company's lose customers and go out of business. Simple Overhead issues are less important to Owners or Management...and making a dollar is ALL that matters....and turning a profit. All are watching...not...

I called back and expressed my displeasure in my ordered and the young lady who helped me stated that she would take my name and I could come in and give my name and they would replace my order. Now this is where it went bad....today I was in the area so I stopped and explained the situation gave my name and the man who I'm sure at this point was lying about his name being Bob stating that he was the manager on shift on Monday, August 5, 2024 @ 11:20 am was beyond RUDE. He was not accommodating at all, very short, was yelling, had a horrible disposition to be working in customer service, walked away several times as I was asking questions, accused me of lying about some wings, and made the other customers leave who walked in after me due to his behavior. When I asked for information to the manager or the owner he made up an email address and gave it to me told me that there was no business contact for them and he was not going to give me their personal numbers (that I didn't ask for). I asked him for his name he walked away stating that his name was Bob and laughed and stated, "do you think I'm going to tell you my name." My thoughts as I walked out was if your customer service wasn't so terrible you wouldn't mind. As a business owner in the near area I will never support this establishment again and will never recommend to anyone...
Read moreI went in to grab a simple order of cheese sticks and fries for my daughter. I gave them 20 minutes when I came in to get my food a lady was going off saying her order was wrong and they gave her cheese sticks and fries she didn’t order. So it was two people in front of and two door dash orders.So when it’s my turn I ask for my money back plane and simple because I know I’m my heart the fries and cheese sticks the lady gave them back was mine and that they would still try to serve them to me. At this point I’m 35 minutes in for cheese sticks and fries and refused to wait another minute after they said my food was right there. I said I’m good don’t want a problem just my money back period. The lady was intoxicated and no one ever apologized or anything. The worst part is that tipped 3 dollars when I made my order but wasn’t petty enough to want my tip back. I’m kinda hurt my daughter was at home sick and craving something salty and the whole ordeal ate up all my time and I couldn’t stop at another restaurant and had to cancel a very important appointment to stay home and cook her something.Very disappointed will not recommend any one eat from Sweetwater ever.
