Onasis is my last resort when Royal Grille (Livernois/Grand River) closes up for the night. The food is about what you would expect from a Coney Island which is to say it's good grease spoon food, but the business practices need refinement. Me and my girlfriend were there last night and as we placed a fairly sized order, we decided to use our Visa card. Since there seems to be no device on the outside of the bullet proof glass for customers to insert their own card & pin numbers for transactions, we gave the card to the young lady who took our order whom then informed my gf that she needed her to tell her the pin number through the glass...... What? I've never been in any establishment where they have customers compromise their banking information because there is no way for you to input your own pin code. Mind you, there were 2 individuals in the lobby with us, though I knew they weren't sober enough to notice what was going on, and 3 behind the counter as it took 2 girls to train 1 new employee.
Either set up a device for customer to physically make their own transactions, or don't accept...

2023 update: Wow this place went downhill fast. I made an order inside last night. My 20 minute wait for food gave me time to watch the employees and customers.
The service was extremely poor for all of the customers. Call in customers were coming in a half hour after they ordered and their orders weren't ready or there was no record of the order. They actually had one guy who came in for his call in and they gave his order to someone else for free.
Every order I saw had that 20 minute wait time or was wrong or both.
Many people I talked to said they were only there because the power was out at so many other restaurants, otherwise they wouldn't even think about giving this...
   Read moreWould rate it a zero if possible. Do NOT EAT HERE. They do not use appropriate sanitation when preparing your meals. While waiting for my food I watched through the glass window 2 cooks prepare food without using gloves. One of them touched their hair, face, counter tops REPEATEDLY! When the cashier brought me my finished meal I immediately requested a refund. She then went on to try to explain they don't use gloves because they are too small for their hands, and that they melt when preparing food. WHAT??????? Once she spoke to the cooks about my complaint his only response was "tell her if she doesn't like it, don't come back" sickening! I will be contacting someone to investigate...
