My fiancé takes me to Primo's Tacos every couple weeks to get our taco fix. He always orders for me since I don't speak Spanish, but I imagine the guy taking orders for the tacos can speak English; he just prefers Spanish, and it's easier for my fiancé to order since I have no idea what I'm doing. These are real Mexican tacos, not texmex
Speaking of the tacos, they taste amazing. They're made on 2 heated corn tortillas, loaded with the meat you choose (I usually get chicken or steak), and sprinkled with cilantro and onion, just like the Mexican mom I never had used to make. So delicious! The tacos come with red and green sauce in separate containers and foil wrapped radish and lime
You can get the tacos for here, which means on a plate without a cover, or to go, which means on a plate with foil over it. I always get them to go and eat them in the car with my fiancé

Read moreTaqueria Mi Pueblo across the street is pretty good and great for sitting down, but if you want to skip all the finery and go straight to amazing tacos, this is the place (and it just so happens to be right across the street).
Parked in a closed restaurant's lot, Primo's Tacos truck slings the most amazing al pastor, asada, lengua, and cabeza tacos around. Honestly you can't go wrong getting anything here. The quesadillas are also a must to try.
As for the process of the food truck: order food at the window, and its almost immediately handed to you, then load that taco with whatever condiments you want from the salsas and pickled vegetables. Pay at the other window, and ask for whatever drinks you might want (their horchata is really good if they aren't out of it).
Note: They changed their name recently from "Tacos El Primo" to...

My favorite is the Pastor tacos. There is something so simply different about those tacos. I have challenged people to try find a better place but all of them end up regulars at this place.
Also try the Horchaata in summer months. It does help soothe the spice. In winter, ask for a glass of Con sa mey. Even in 20F weather, you will feel warm and probably sweat a little as well.
Wonderfully fast and this place redefines "fast" food. Absolutely love this place and will...
