I’ve never had such a bad experience at any restaurant in my entire life. I am a Restaurant Manager of 19 years. The “Manager” was very rude and super confrontational the entire time. No one was behind the counter when I arrived. I waited a minute or two. When no one came out I went to head to the counter at the gas station just to make sure they were open. Halfway to the counter a woman starts yelling at me. “You don’t need to go up to them and bother them when we’re not behind the counter.” Oh I’m sorry I didn’t know if you were open or not. “Yea, don’t do that. The sign is on so we’re open!” I was literally about to walk out, as if open signs are real indicators now a days. I remained pleasant used my pleases and thank yous then she wanted to argue that she couldn’t make a Subway Melt. I told her that I have gotten here before. Then she finally realized that they call it an All American just with different cheese. She made my sandwich. As I was cashing out she said you can run your card when you’re ready. I said oh I’m paying cash. Que the giant eye roll. This manager had the worst attitude. I’m surprised she’s in a management role. I understand how frustrating work can be and the general public but she was just combative the entire time. Do not tell your customers what to do. Do not try to condescend or talk down to your customers. Use your manners. I suggest training her in customer service and proper communication. I tipped her $1.61 on $12.39. Read moreIt was the most awful experience I have ever had with this subway. They have a new day shift lead/manager. She was extremely unpleasant, mouthy and rude. She was upset because she messed my order up as she was reading it off the receipt. She proceeded to tell me this is why online orders exist... so you're not standing in line. I said good thing I was here because you would've messed up my order. This woman from the start had a tone with me because I ordered online as she was helping others she says to me, " With online orders we can only make it exactly as you ordered it". I nodded politely as she seemingly was looking for a rise out of me. After standing in line for over 15 minutes she tells me she's is going to need me to move out of line and stand over to the side as another customer who was my neighbor stood and line and started to chat with me. Once again I nodded politely and moved. Meanwhile her tone with me spoke leaps and bounds. As I see she is assembling my sandwich she is adding things I didn't order yo it and then proceeded to tell me what I started this complaint with. Needless to say... she made my blood pressure very high and stressed me out beyond belief. Also I got my order home and it was WRONG because she didn't want me to watch. I am very upset and think that she needs to be reprimanded. And I honestly would say I want my money back but after that experience I think it's more important she is seen about....
Read moreI've been to over 200 Subway locations across the United States and I've never once been told no to toasting my sandwich at the end as opposed Too at the beginning when requested when I asked if that was possible like I normally do which again never been told no anywhere else i was greeted with an attitude and was told that there was nothing they could do about it. That's what the manager told them but once again even if the manager told them that I've never been to a Subway in the United States that has denied me service like that I had to go home and toast my own sandwich separately because they refuse to toast mine the way I wanted it to be toasted I will never go to this Subway again. If I have to go to Subway I'll go to a different one because that's crazy that I pay all that money for the sandwich and then I have to go home and toast it because they won't toast it for me and it's not like the machine was down. Their toaster was working just fine.
