Frontera Grill — Restaurant in Grosse Pointe Park

Well it all started when I know this restaurant used to be called Mimi's bistro and I wanted some Mimi's bistro but I found out that it was a Mexican restaurant I love Mexican food so I decided to doordash for the first time order so I had to order doordash but I wanted my taco shell to be hard tortilla deep fried so the gentleman on the phone said that he could do that for me the order came and it was correct then yesterday which was on May 19th I called and spoke to a young lady who started off conversation was very rude and when I decided to place my order I told her how what in my taco shell she said that she did not understand and she told me that they didn't could not make it that way so I told her and let her know that they made my orders specifically prior to me ordering on the 19th she said no there's no way we can do that she never could understand why I would want my taco like that and she said it's only a hard shell so they ended up making my order which ended up being wrong and when I went inside to get the order she said oh you're the one who placed the order and she gave me my food and walked away nose customer service at all then I ordered on May 20th I ordered a shrimp taco dinner I asked for my cilantro my spicy ranch and instead of coleslaw I wanted lettuce I wanted that all on the side and I wanted a deep fried tortilla shell when the order came through door dash none of that happened at all I had my tacos with all my ingredients on it it was not on the side at all so I called and the lady said bring the food up so when I brought the food up when I got there she told me that I did not ask for the letters to be on the side I just ask for lettuce instead of coleslaw I said correct I told her well if they already did it just leave it on there then when I got home I opened my order up in the order is too long they did everything except for giving my deep fry taco shell I don't not know what's going on with the kitchen staff but they are not reading the tickets correctly and if they cannot speak any English and they can't read English then maybe they need to have a translator in the kitchen that will help the customer service go a little bit more smoother because they're going to end up wasting food by remaking orders and they're going to lose customers I work in the customer service field and I know how this all goes they need to make a plan to where they do not lose customers and I may be...

Food was decent the first time i had it delivered to my job from doordash. So good in fact I decided to order a pickup a couple weeks later off the app. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same pleasant experience. There was a young girl and a few other workers in the back. I just got off work around 3pm. I was the only customer with my spouse. While we was waiting for food. We asked if we could order a drink. She said no, she didnt feel like it. She was very ride the entire time. And then went to the back and proceeded to talk about us to her co workers as if we just inconvenienced her entire life. Ironically, I also work in restaurant management. I even mentioned to her that she was rude and have poor customer service skills. He response was to leave and have a good day. This young girl is ruining this business! But then again from looking at the reviews. It seems like it may be a family owned and operated business. Which would explain the crappy service and reviews. Ordered their chips and guacamole for sides. The chips are served with red and green salsa . Really loved their green salsa. For main course we got their grilled chicken quesadilla ,pollo en guajillo Arandano along with Rose wine. The quesadilla was served with guacamole, beans and salad.Its the classic and tasted the best.The other one is their signature dish. Don’t confuse this to be a sweet dish. It’s only the yam which comes with the cranberry sauce.It was something new and tasted good. Ask for their habanero sauce incase you find anything to be very bland.
