So excited to see this place open again after being closed for Covid, parking and entrance off rear parking lot. 2 brothers and sister all speak broken English, we understand each other well enough. Decades this place a Sw Detroit classic Mexican restaurant. Marvelous lunch 😄 special Chicken Tinga Enchiladas en Salsa Verde sauce 😋 OMG. Come with Rice and Charro Beans only $7 until 3pm everyday, a must try. The chef gave us a couple bowls of Birria with Potato Soup 😋, addictive broth outstanding Delicious. We shared a Queso Fundio mixed Chorizo n Cheese 😋. I had 2 really great Al Pastor Taco's with fresh made Tortillas, some of the very best ever Eaten 😋. She had a Chicken 🐔 and Cheese Quesadilla 🤤 another winner. The salsas are very unique and flavorful. Find on Facebook Yelp and Google, NOTE many terrible reviews from another owner several years ago. Totally different and five star again, every weekend Smoked Mexican Char Chicken. First off I'll never return nor refer anyone to eat there. We arrived at around 6:30 pm When approached and greeted we wanted each a long Island ice teas. The waitress came back saying the bartender had just left. Said that we were out of luck. That they didn't know how to make a Long Island Iced Tea. We then ask well could the manager make it and they came back and said with a manager wasn't there.. long story short the food was cold the chicken had bones in it the chimichanga. It took a long time for us to receive our orders like an hour for like an hour for 1 Mushroom and Cheese tostada. We have to keep asking for the things we ask for and ordered already little things such as napkins. In my opinion even being in the restaurant industry myself the management here is the blame. The owners are to be ashamed...

This place is awesome!!! It's my favorite mexican restaurant to date! Good variety of food, good quality for the most part but lately someone is dropping the ball and its obvious for sure! Their always running out of glass bottle cokes, one of my favorite dishes are the gorditas de rajas con queso and the last past few times they have been different used jalapeno pepper instead of the pablano peppers with the sauce which is a huge disappointment. Sometimes it right and others it's not so I don't really order the gorditas anymore. Beans are bomb and love the arrangement of salsa you get...
