Wyoming Fresh Fish and Seafood — Restaurant in Detroit

We were out taking care of a few errands when the realization that it was dinner time made me feel like MR SPOCK of star trek during his time called " PON FARR ," I had to eat . This was Saturday evening and lots of folks were on the roads many of them driving like bank robbers fleeing the law . So being that I wanted to get the food and avoid the jeopardy of more time on the road I pulled into the first fresh seafood market we saw . Entering the shop was interesting as there was a unhappy customer openly detailing their last experience with this fish market that had been very disappointing to them . I listened for a moment , observing that this exchange between the market manager and customer was civil and she had just made a new purchase of food from them , that it must be good quality food so I decided to stay and buy something myself . What can be said about a simple fish market. It was clean and tidy in the lobby . The fish and other seafood was displayed neatly and clearly labeled laid out on ice in clean display cases . The product I ordered did not take an unreasonable amount of time . It was packaged well and the food was hot , not over or under cooked . And all the other customers I saw were leaving contented even the one that had been expressing disappointment when I first entered the market. Give the a try . You may leave...

Terrible customer service. The customer in front of me placed his order and they rung him up and he paid (nearly $50). While he was waiting for his order, another worker came and told him he was charged incorrectly and that he owed $10 more. That was the inexperienced cashier's fault, not the customer's. But he was told that if he didn't pay the extra $10 they would refund him (mind you the food was ready and they'd rather lose the money he'd already paid than just lose the $10 that the cashier screwed up). They were truly angry at the customer because he didn't want to pay $10 extra for their mistake. He finally gave them $5 and they gave him extra slices of bread (really?!). Left a bad taste in my mouth about choosing this...

This has to be THE WORST!! Seafood boil I’ve ever had. First off it comes in a pan, so there is no butter juices at all, very dry. Never had to crack my own eggs. They subsisted the Sausages with carrots & Cauliflowers, & I called it in 45mins ahead of time only to get there and still wait 15mins with nobody else in the lobby… I highly recommend Fred’s on Schaefer...
