Peppino's Pizza DeWitt — Restaurant in DeWitt Charter Township

Since moving here in 2020. Peppinos was a good pizza joint. Here it is 2024, pizza quality is trash. 2 times now I have spent $100+ on an order. When it arrives it's stone cold. Not to mention I've sat in the store for an order, just to watch how things operate. Orders for delivery will sit on the back counter for 15-20 min before delivery personnel pick it up to deliver. 0 communication to front cashier that's if they are even there. No actual structure or care for food service. Takes 1 hr from store to door with only 1/2 mile away. I was informed my 1st order of the night was on the back counter for 20-45 min before taken out for delivery. I would get better service from little ceasers for only a 15$ tab then 100$ at this location. Not once have I seen an actual adult working and maintaining structure at the store. Training and quality care need to improve drastically. I used to praise to people on how good this place is now I tell them to stay clear and goto mancinos. Picture is of a margarita pizza. Clear waxy cheese not fresh and very very cheap quality. Basil should not be baked. START SHOWING THE LOVE IN COOKING FOR YOUR COMMUNITY. WE DONT HAVE MANY OPTIONS FOR ACTUAL QUALITY...

I am a bit of a pizza snob. I also find it very hard to find my favorite type of pizza, especially in a place nearby. Peppino's in DeWitt gave me the answer that I was looking for. They are located in a convenient place for me. They serve my favorite pizza, which is the Margarita. The Margarita pizza they serve is absolutely the best. The flavor is outrageously good.

They offer delivery, which is pretty convenient. They also get your pizza to you piping hot in my experience.

A few closing remarks: this Pizzaria is relatively new in the area. They have done a great job acclimating, and starting up, and the staff are friendly. Like most pizza shops in the area, this one is not a dine in, and wait times around their busy periods will be longer. It is worth the wait to get one of those...

ordered pizza at 4:55 ETA was 6:07 which was long. Called at 6:25 as still had not received, they said it was with delivery driver. I called at 6:50 was put on hold for 5 min and they can’t find the order anywhere and said the driver didn’t have it after all. They offered to make the order but dinner hour is over so I said cancel it they said okay and said they would refund my cc. An hour later 7:55 a pizza driver showed up with the order and tried to get cash for it. We had already gone out and got dinner elsewhere. So I had to call the store again. Can’t tell you if pizza is any good, never successfully ordered there. Tried twice, order was messed up twice.
