We just happened to be in Dexter, MO today for lunch. We normally eat at Dexter BBQ but they were closed so we went across the street to this restaurant. Son ordered hamburger 🍔 and Jeff and I eat the buffet $12.99. (Plus if you order a glass of water they charge you $.25 and if you want a slice of lemon that cost extra as well) We thought that was a really low price for Easter 🐣 Sunday. The food was cold on the Buffet and it was 11:59 am when we got there. The mashed potatoes were instant and the rest of the vegetables tasted bland as well. It took forever for son’s Hamburger and it was a small preformed Patty. Son did love his French fries. The staff was running around trying to take care of their tables the best they could, but you could tell they needed a little more help. This is not a restaurant we will go back to. Read moreGreeted and told to be seated where we please. I noticed a buffet. But opted for the Ribeye sandwich(comes with lettuce tomato and onion on Texas toast) A sub roll would be a better choice to handle this job. Ordered the meat medium. It came as ordered. No sauce needed. Steak was properly not overly seasoned. Also a marinade was used on the steak. Nice flavor that left the meat tasty. Came with French fries for $1 more. Could've had a baked potato for the same price. Just not my choice today. Meal was good atmosphere not outrageously loud. Server was polite and well mannered. She did a great job. Will return to try...

My husband told the server both times. The third time we visited, the chicken was a little pink. My husband decided to just talk to the owner. She told him that it's impossible because the chicken is on a timer. I'm sure that timer could be turned up but they don't want to risk the chicken drying out on the buffet, I guess. We probably won't return which is...
