El Tapatio of Dexter — Restaurant in Dexter

I been a regular customer for years... 18 in fact.. id heard through the years how bad they treated consumers... I as all of us ignored it... until today.. Easter Sunday.. it's always a smoke place to grab some Mexican... I'm a traveler and enjoy the place.. buy for 3 years now, they've let this short mad angry guy who hates white people treat me utterly like trash... 18 years... id finally had enough and talk about a surprise... I was barred because I complained and ask the manager to check the cameras as I was chill til this monster of the staff assumed I was gonna ( keep in mind I never ) was gonna smoke a cig..cigarette... I complied easily as always... even though I was actually leaving smokes for the cooks I appreciate that cook my meals as an appreciate customer... I did blow my fuse and made a scene at the bitter end... but damn.. id a never thought.. I'm sour.. so the food is great.. and it's only 1 guy that ultimately got me band on Easter sunday..which is way beyond my understanding with cameras and audio these days... but the food is amazing.. all but that 1 server ever .. and do mean ever.. gave me any problems.. I guess I'll because of his unknown personal vendetta against me.. anyway.. food is great.. for 18 years as a traveling railroader.. I always looked forward to enjoying my free time there..I promise you my review is legit.. great food.. great service.. my only problem.. and amazingly it's just 1... they got one server who hates nice, giving, considerate, white males. We are from out of state here for a job. We went to this place the 2nd night we were here and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Upon entering, the atmosphere was comfortable as well as inviting. We were seated promptly in a smoking section which was a surprise because you dont see restaurants have that option anymore. We ordered our drinks, relaxed, enjoyed complimentary chips and salsa and ordered our food. I ordered the taco salad with white cheese sauce which was amazing My boyfriend ordered a steak with shrimp and he said it was the best hes ever had. Our waiter was prompt and extremely nice and always smiling. Upon exiting, we took our check and went up directly to our waiter and tipped him $20 because his of his personality and promt service. I lived in Dexter for 3 years and ordered and ate at this restaurant many, many times. I've been gone for about a year now, just came through for a few days and I guarantee you that I will never order from here again !! The food was terrible !! I ordered a chimi chunga and got a burrito covered in watery cheese they have changed their beans and let me tell you that they were nasty !!
