C&K Sweet Shoppe & Coffee — Restaurant in Dickinson

When I first came here, the drinks were very tasty and everyone was friendly. So I started to make this place my everyday coffee run. My coffee started tasting like straight milk and was flavorless. It wasn't just one time, it was about 3 occasions. So I then asked to have a manager call me. I get a call from her a few days later and she didn't acknowledge that the baristas had messed up, and said I need to ask for more flavoring in my drink, I just wanted her to know what was going on so maybe she can retrain the girls or let them know they're doing something wrong. Then she started saying that I threatened to leave a bad review, which now I am because that's just not right (which I never threatened anyone, I left them a 5 star on their Facebook page). She never said sorry or anything, keep in mind I wasn't mean or nasty in anyway. She also had made it a point to confirm that I'm from California, which was not relevant to my experience there. The service here is so slow, the drinks are subpar, and the owner is incredibly rude. We’ve had a few different experiences here, none of them being good. Inquired about a wedding cake and the owner asked our budget which was $2000 and she told us we couldn’t afford a cake from them and hung up. Not to mention recently all her desserts have started looking like stuff other bakeries offer, so she obviously has no creative thoughts of her own for desserts, she’d rather just take ideas from others. We, like many others in Dickinson, will not be returning here.

As a business C and K has a great suggestion of food and drinks and bakery items. They do beautiful cake work as well! As for one on one customer service the girls and guys who work there are very friendly and always have a positive impact on my day!!! However any dealings I have had with Christina (the owner) have been less than ideal. I have been interrupted, cut off and treated with such disrespect that it is appalling. I hope she finds ways to speak with clientele a bit more civilly and...
