Let me start off saying overall it was a good experience. There were 5 of us all together. We started our order off with a 16" pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. I have to say that is why you come here. The pizza was fantastic, and everyone loved it. As for my order, I chose the "parma," and the sandwich itself was fine when it came to portion, but the prosciutto was very fatty. Every bite, I was pulling the contents of my sandwich off because of how tough the fat was. On to what my wife ordered the steak and cheese hoagie, and it was fantastic with tons of flavor, and it had a lot of meat. It was the amount of meat you would get years ago. She also ordered a drink, Bellini Tini, and it was fantastic. She said it wasn't too strong and just right. My younger son ordered the chicken tenders, and he said they were the best he ever had. My older son ordered a meatball hoagie, and he said it was dry. It had a lot of meatballs on it, just not enough sauce. Lastly, my son's girlfriend ordered the Mac cheese with shrimp and bacon. The creaminess flavor and richness were absolutely amazing. I also have to note that she got a half portion. She ate quite a bit and was still enough to bring some home. Overall, the rest of us, our portions, were good enough to satisfy but weren't big enough that you're bringing a bunch home. All of us opted for the fries instead of the kettle chips. So none of us can comment on them. The fries were pretty good, but nothing great. I mean, you don't go out for fries. The staff were fantastic and didn't have to wait. She was attentive to our order and extremely patient. Especially when we couldn't make up our minds since this was our first time at this establishment. Ok, so my overall review of Colarusso's is: It was a good experience, and everything there isn't great but good. With us, it was a hit or miss. The pizza is to die for. It's one of my top 3 in the area, and everything about it was perfect. From the portions to the crust and everything in between. Amazing! Do I recommend this place? I absolutely recommend this place. If I had to give a pointer when coming here. Always make a reservation and on a day outside of the weekend. We went on a Saturday and it was loud. That's it, always stay...

I’d love to rate this place based on food and service, but I can’t. I can only describe my awful, first, and only, experience with customer service.

I ordered food online and paid with a card. I received an email of a time to expect my pick up to be ready. When I arrived, the doors were locked and no one answered the phone.

The next day I called and they had apparently closed to clean for COVID, which is fine, I understand things are weird right now. They could have informed me but again, I understand, things are weird right now. I requested a refund for obvious reasons.

I was told they couldn’t do it and a different manager would have to call me back and handle it. I never got a call, but I assumed this situation happened to a few people that day.

So I waited a little over a week assuming the transfer of transaction may have taken some time, and since they aren’t organized they probably didn’t handle the situation properly.

I called again and informed I was refunded, which just wasn’t true. I asked to speak to someone about this since they were supposed to call me and update me as they promised. Never happened.

I have now called four times with no resolution and now I feel like I was stolen from. I’m an understanding person, people make mistakes, people have bad days, and I feel for small businesses right now, but, this is just terrible and irresponsible service.

I held up to my end of the social contract and was understanding when it wasn’t fulfilled, but I think I learned a valuable lesson from this company about the type of business they run.

Clearly they are unorganized and...

I’ll start by saying the usual - the only reason they got one star is because I couldn’t give zero and we didn’t even get the chance to order food. We had reservations for four (at 4:00 when they opened). Got there about 10 minutes early and met the other couple we were dining with at the edge of the parking lot. The waitress/hostess wiping down the tables was quick to snap at us that they don’t open until 4 even though, at that point, it was 3:55 and we were still standing on the edge of the parking lot, not trying to sit down. We said we’ll wait and then she snapped again, saying they don’t take walk-ins. How about Welcome to Colarusso’s. We’ll be with you momentarily? That would have been nice. If you’re that miserable, find a job that doesn’t require any customer service skills. Anyway, we told her we had reservations. So we sat down and another waitress, thankfully, came over to take our order. She promptly informed us only half the items on the menu (mostly pizza & salads) would be available because they also had a private party going on and the cook was tied up with that. It seems that the kitchen staff wouldn't have time to cook the dinner items on the full menu. Really? Hire another cook or two so you can run your restaurant and book a party on the same day or let people know when they call ahead to make a reservation that the full menu won't be available. We got up and left so I guess Miss Personality was able to accommodate at least one walk-in party of four Saturday night. Maybe the food would have been good but the service was awful. We won’t...

This is one of my mother‘s favorite pizza places. We’ve dine in and take out frequently. The outdoor patio is great when the weather permits. Fantastic pizza one of the best in the area. We’ve had the Buffalo chicken pizza, pepperoni, pizza, anchovy pizza, plain pizza, and all are wonderful. The flank steak sandwich is marinated perfectly- lots of flavor and deliciousness in every bite. The salads are huge, fresh & delightful. The mac & cheese with bacon and bread crumbs is phenomenal. There certainly is something for everyone. The menu is full of excellent choices. They have a very nicely appointed private room for parties, gatherings and special occasions. It’s a very popular place. We’ve always received our dishes promptly and without delay. Great choice

Fettuccine with vodka sauce lacked any flavor. My wife's Mac & cheese with bacon tasted good, but where's the bacon? Got charged an extra dollar for 1/2 bacon. It comes with bacon. Garlic rolls? No garlic, just butter & sprinkled cheese on top.Drinks are expensive 6.25 each for an IPA. 7.95 for a Bellini_ Tini. I didn't even get a full glass of my first beer because that was the end of the pumpkin. Krista M was on the spot for our waitress. My first visit was non impressive. I have been to only 1 other restaurant where a salad is not part of a dinner meal. So this is strike 2. I play ball but not that it matters. I don't see a third try. Each their own I get it.Service is great!
