Small shop in Dinosaur CO serves sandwiches, coffee, name and off name soda and a huge selection of kitschy items. The name soda is reserved for the combo menu items. The off name soda we had not heard of, but may be local, so they may be just your thing.

Self fill out the menu order yourself and hand it to the lady behind the counter. Pay attention to the type of bread and other small items you are wanting, it's easy to overlook and makes it easier on everyone if you have it filled out correctly.

There is a nice shady area to eat outside and it is very pleasant, this time of the year the Cottonwoods are dropping their seeds; and it's nice to relax and watch the traffic go by.

Busy the day we passed through, within 30 minutes parking lot in the front went from 1 car to 6. Pretty much the only place to eat.

Grilled cheese was really not much more than expected. Coffee was disappointing as I thought I was in for a treat as the BedRock Depot has a very nice espresso machine with a full reserve of beans. However, the ground beans are packed into the espresso funnel, brewed into two shot glasses, dumped into one cup and then partially filled with hot water for a "large" coffee that did not even fill the cup 3/4 full.

Total for...

Over priced and took way too long to make 3 simple sandwiches. 1 scoop of ice cream for a different customer before our 3 sandwiches. Walked out after 20 minutes and got a sandwich from the gas station. I won't be going back

This is the response to yours. You say you serve people who pay first. We paid 15 dollars for 3 sandwiches 2 of which were peanut butter and jelly. And we waited the 15 minutes after the last person was served their ice cream after we paid and waited then waited more. So you cannot say that the others that came in paid because nobody came in while my wife stood in your loby area waiting for simple sandwiches to be made. The service was...

I always love trying new things, and stopping here did not dissapoint! Me and my husband both shared a cold sandwich combo. It was super filling and it tasted scrumptious! (it was on AMAZING sour dough bread, that I definitely recommend) They also have nice outdoor seating that's comfortable and well-shaded and makes for the perfect spot to enjoy your meal. I can't wait to come back and try some of their home-made ice cream or one of their fun drinks. The owner was also so friendly and welcoming and a joy to talk to. If you're passing through town, make sure to stop here and try one of their yummy treats, while simultaneously supporting a small...

Images are of the wifi speed test and the Reuben. Most Reubens are on Rye but I still really enjoyed the sandwich and it was served very hot. They have pretty slow WiFi but it was enough for my travel companion to make two different conference calls during our stop so that was an unexpected free bonus (we weren't expecting any wifi, so 'slow' is still waaaaay better than 'none' and better than paying your cell provider). Friendly staff and tasty food that was fast and much better than fast food. The gift shop has plenty of stuffed dinosaurs for the little ones.

What a gem!!! This was such a nice find coming from a backpack and camping trip in Yampa, Colorado back home to SLC, Utah. The hot sandwiches were really good but the reviews about homemade ice cream sealed the deal on us stopping by. I work for Normal Ice Cream in SLC, Utah so my expectations are extremely high and Bedrock Depot’s was very close to what I’m used to so I’m here to say you must try it!!! It was unique and very delicious. Thanks for the friendly, service too!

This cosy diner is a gem in the desert town of Dinosaur, Colorado with good panini sandwiches and ice cream, particularly the fresh plums one! The owners are a nice couple who prepare the food while you browse their cool crafts store and engage in friendly chat. It's the last pit stop before heading to Harper's Corner in the Dinosaur National Monument for epic views of canyons where the dinosaurs roamed once
