Perko's Cafe — Restaurant in Dinuba

I have always enjoyed going to Perko’s whenever I’m in town visiting family or there on business. The food is always pretty good, the cooks are good and the staff is almost always excellent (everyone has their off days; working in customer service and interacting with an array of mixed ethnics, nationalities, personalities and customs ALL day long, situations are bound to arise). People NEED to remind themselves humans are by nature bound to make mistakes, having an “off moment and/or day”.

There are younger waitresses/hostesses that need some “fine polishing”, but this day and age with the younger generations, they lack in “people skills” and “customer service” skills. Don’t let that distract from the 5-star service overall... there are specifically a few of the older waitresses I enjoy. Very personable, professional and go above and beyond their normal duties to ensure my needs were met and my experience at Perko’s is enjoyable.

So whenever you’re in Dinuba and looking for a tasty homestyle menu with decent and affordable prices, this is definitely the stop you want to make. Remember people... tip your waitresses, even if you’re not able to monetarily, do so with a kind word or two and let them know their service is appreciated.

BE KIND... Lift one another up and help put a smile on someone’s face. You have no idea what they might be struggling with, a kind word might just change...

This place has went down hill. The dishes are dirty. I asked for a cup of water you can see floating debris in cup, i let them know and they give me another one. the same thing a dirty cup! I don’t know who’s washing dishes but they need to get fired. These are common hygiene practices. I will never eat here again. I’m sad to say that because it use to be well loved. But if your not going to take pride in cleanliness in your establishment people need to know. You have all those waitresses and none are wiping down tables or menus. Just talking and snacking on food. It is also is very stuffy and hot in there. And I agree with the other commentator there is tons of dust floating in the air. Another thing to mention is outside on top of there building is two metal sheets hanging off flopping in the wind, a danger hazard that’s going to fall on someone.

I really wanted to like this place but it is not what I was expecting, seems like now days people have let these places do as they want but they have forgotten about customer service, if you are busy then wait for the waitresses or waiters to catch up and then you keep sending tables, and also seems like hostesses also forgot that aside from being at the entrance they can also help by taking drinks at least and don't let tables be waiting for 10-20 minutes to get drinks, also the silverware was dirty as expected when having a busy morning and also they don't give you spoons, just knife and fork, which comes to my next disappointment, coffee, if you are running a breakfast restaurant the coffee should be refill at all times, you don't even wait for the customer to ask for, you just go and refill unless otherwise. So yeah my experience here was a let down and now on...
