I decided to stop through the drive thru after work and I was greeted and placed my order with minimal problems. After about a 12 minute wait I finally get to the window and the young lady is pleasant takes my money then hands me a bag and tells me to have a nice night. Naturally I assumed that the transaction was completed so I proceeded to drive home. Upon arrival I opened my bag and a sizeable portion (½ of the total cost) was not in the bag. So I grab my phone and call and a young man named Blake answered. I began telling him that my order was short when he interrupted me by asking if I had 'forgotten my chicken strips'...I told him I hadn't forgotten anything...he then changed his tune and corrected himself. He offered to allow me to come back and I could get my chicken strips, because exactly what I want to do after a twenty minute drive home is drive another twenty minutes to get some cold chicken strips then drive yet another 20 minutes home. I told him I had no intentions of coming back. Then without taking my name he said he'd add it to the complaint log (I find it a little disconcerting that they get enough complaints to necessitate an entire log devoted to them) and I could come in anytime and get my chicken strips at which point the line was disconnected. At this point I don't think I will ever get my chicken strips, not because I don't have faith in Blake but because I don't think I will ever visit this DQ again...in fact after eating a less than appetizing cheeseburger I don't care if I ever...
Read moreI arrived at DQ and pulled up to the drive through mic at EXACTLY 8:00 pm to order a couple of blizzards. All the lights were on and it didn't seem to be closed, but once I rolled down the window, the girl said, "I'm sorry, we're closed now," and nothing more. A moment later, the lights turned off on me. I was just like "oh okay" and drove away, in the process seeing that there was a car at the window ahead of me that they were serving, but for some reason they couldn't serve me because it was the exact moment that they "closed". Mind you, there were no people behind me and after I was done ordering, they could've easily shut off their lights, but no, they turned me away. Now that isn't even upset me the most. When I arrived home, I looked up this specific Dairy Queen's operating hours and it says they are open until 9:00 pm. I'm very upset with the current management. I've heard from so many people about how rude they are here and it seems that regardless of all these poor reviews I see they are getting, they aren't changing. Can't we just have our food and if not, can't we have a little respect? The attitude of this restaurant has even kept me from wanting to apply here as a teenager. Please, just be...
Read moreI ordered 3 blizzards, Reese PB cup, butterfinger, and turtle pecan, they were way over mixed and it was like drinking a shake… all 3 of us were very disappointed! You guys need to take down the pictures that show turning the blizzard upside down because that is a thing of the past! To have spent almost $20.00 on these 3 items is way over priced! We will not be back and will be taking out business to dairy delight from now on where the prices are much lower and the chunks are much bigger! The only good thing was the friendly young lady at the window that told me to enjoy the rest of my evening and thanked me! I also noticed on these responses from management there was no offer on a discount to return just asking for another chance… maybe if you offered a discount and retrained your employees to not over mix and make it chunkier your business would be booming! Very very...
