Wendy's — Restaurant in Dixon Township

This place Used to be our favorite burger spot in Sterling, (since BeefaRoo left that is, lol.), but the past couple years the service has severely gone down hill... Regardless of the time of day, most of the employees at the window or working near it, act straight Ignorant and Tacky! They usually do not ask to receive your receipt and have more than Once Forgotten to give me back my debit card after saying thanks and bye! Causing me to drive away and go home like I already done got my card back! Smh! Shady attempt at thievery or just Plain idiocracy... Also, the food quality has Surley gone down as well of course.. sucks because there isn't much choices at all for decent meat items at fast joints around these small town parts. In conclusion, get it together please Wendy's. 👎🏽 This update is to include Wendy's in Dickson Illinois.: This place was just as incompetent it seemed, asked the Sterling Wendy's. We had 3 drinks, went through the drive through so not inside, not one single straw was given to us so we had to park and go inside tickets draws, Which will be fine not to have they had those lids where you didn't have to use a straw or just draw which is better for the environment anyway I prefer not to use this drop but they don't have those kind of Sippy lids like you can get at Starbucks now, With their cold drinks. While my husband went inside to get the straws I decided to open up the chicken wrap that I received and begin to eat that cause I was quite hungry since I hadn't eaten yet on this day and we were already in the evening. I took a bite at the chicken wrap and it was the driest, Crusty stale feeling tortilla I had ever been into and inside was the driest rap I had ever been into with the driest chicken the no flavor. I opened up the rap which was supposed to be a chicken creamy radge rap, to find that they had put no ranch dressing at all whatsoever it was just some lettuce and some very dry flavorless pieces of chicken thrown in there and this crusty stale Tortilla it was literally The Worst wrap I've ever bitten into... Which was extra frustrating since I was literally starving at that point since I hadn't eaten since the day before we were out yet this evening and I had already went through my work day And I normally love wraps and this was Wendy's new chicken wrap so I decided to try it, even though I don't trust Wendy's too much anymore just like other fast food places that have drastically gone Downhill Uber the last few years, my husband really wanted Wendy's so I said yes tried something new thinking this will be something good since I love wraps anyway, I know it was literally the worst. I really should have went inside and got my money back. Lesson learned though, Although Wendy's chili is still good, that is not enough reason to waste the time to go sit in that drive through and pay that money, I plan on never going to a Wendy's again...

ive tried this Wendy's and given it a fair chance but it has too many issues to remain on my radar anymore. #1 needs better leadership. #2 needs to get rid of that digital soda machine.( it is just in the way.) Sure it looks cool, but the reality of it is, it's not efficient at all neither inside service or outside. This Wendy's could use a time trim any way they can get it (that doesn't jeopardize the food or accuracy any further.) (its actually more expensive to run this digital soda machine anyway) #3 My food isn't prepared well. I understand all the other deficiencies are in the way of how quick i can get my food but at least give it to me like i ordered it and hot or warm at the very least. ingredient portion sizes dont measure up either. who wants a jr bacon cheeseburger w tomato when the tomato is a butt or mostly white? #4 the workers are unpleasant at best and rude at worst. I dont know what goes on in their day but i refuse to go somewhere where im not wanted. #5 workers would rather talk to each other than give customers the time of day. I'll stick to the Sterling Wendy's when i want friendly service, good and hot food...

I would give this -10 stars if I could the past several times I’ve gone through here everything has been awful. I don’t know why I go back I worked at this location for years, so I am very well aware of how things are supposed to be and what things look like and taste like after they passed their hold times and every time I get something from there it’s always past their hold time Tonight I got an order burger patties were completely dry over salted. They didn’t even give me the correct soda I had ordered through DoorDash. The baked potatoes were dry and shriveled cheese sauce on the potato tasted burnt. They did not provide sour cream for the other potato, the sour cream and chive potato, to be more specific . I ordered a Sprite. They gave us what looked to be mellow yellow, but couldn’t tell what it was because it didn’t taste like anything we ever had tasted before this location has severely gone downhill as someone that used to work there really saddens me to see a location that was once very good, go...
