Tipsy — Restaurant in Dixon Township

I usually order an Old Fashioned, and most of the time they’re ok, but there’s no consistency. The last time I ordered one it was so sweet it was undrinkable. It was also bright pink in color and tasted nothing like an old fashioned. I really do want to like this place, because it’s the only place downtown that’s specifically about cocktails, but this experience quite literally left a bad taste in my mouth. I enjoyed that my friends and I could get our drinks and sit at a table and talk, laugh, and just have an amazing time. We we only had one drink, but were there for quite some time. I really prefer the tables to the bar counter because we are able to sit and actually talk to each other in a group.

Walking around Dixon and the artwork on the wall caught my eye. The owner stepped outside to answer any questions we had. Invited us to stop in and so glad we did! Friendly staff, cold beer and delicious Bloody Mary’s! Service was great, place was clean, and loved the decor. Gaming if you like, shuffleboard and darts, too. Lots of TVs if you’re into sports.
