This is me and my husbandâs favorite place to get pizza on busy weeknights. Despite the fast service during restaurant rush, great hospitality and great pizza making, a lot of the customers Iâve seen come in here are rude and treat the staff terribly. I came in one day to pick up our pizza and this older lady (during a literal rush mind you) was snapping at a young girl because she had to wait a little longer for her pizza to come out (she had a few pizzas if I recall correctly which would obviously take time to make). I heard her say âyou know what!? Just take it off, I donât want it! I donât want it anymore! I want a refund!â I was watching them make her pizza and the girl was so apologetic and looked very frazzled. As someone who used to work in the service industry, I used to get this treatment a lot so I understood what she was going through. I understand that some people will come in when theyâve had nothing to eat all day and take their hanger (hungry anger) out on good employees who are just trying to do what they can to get by and experiences like this donât make it better for the people trying to work hard to get you a decent pizza. It lowers morale. After witnessing that interaction I picked up my pizza and thanked the girl for doing a great job in the rush.
To be fair to the lady, everyone has their bad days and I donât hold it against her, but being abhorrent to employees is not good manners at all. Itâs just not how you treat fully sentient human beings. Be aware of your actions because they DO affect other people. Please, treat food service workers with respect, theyâre under so much stress all the time and they just want you to leave a happy patron of the business. It doesnât take much to leave a tip, make their day or say kind words to them.
This dominoâs is a very good location, very nice staff members that are eager to please and extremely helpful. When they make a mistake, they own it and try to make things right. The manager is wonderful and tries to go above and beyond for people. These people are hard-working and motivated. If someone makes a mistake on your order, they will try and correct it and if youâve already left, just cut them some slack and youâll get your order right next time, Iâm sure of it. (Iâm seeing a lot of these reviews, stop being impatient, youâre even blessed that thereâs a dominos in this area so stop complaining and just wait the damn time it takes for a pizza. Things take long because of a rush or other orders that get backed up due to staffing issues or other issues. Things could be better everywhere but youâre rating a CHAIN PIZZA PLACE, not a fine-dining restaurant experience. So shut up and wait like the rest of us for good pizza.    Read moreThis is. The only Domino's in Empire summington area, and we've always had great food with them. Until 22nd of May, we spent 56 bucks for a large pizza with added toppings. 16. Piece chicken, hot wings and one of the marble cookies. And the food was terrible. The chicken wasn't cooked the pizza wasn't cooked all the way through and it didn't even have meat on it. I called the store and talk to the manager. His name was Jackson. And he juit was not the type of manager that I'm used to dealing with the manager. That was there before him. He was wonderful professional friendly. If something was wrong, he'd immediately fix it. I don't know what happened to him. But this new manager Jackson a tries to talk real professional. But his words are stronger than him. A said he had to look at the food to make sure it wasn't undercooked. So we sent a picture and he says I can't tell and he just wasn't if he gave me. This lecture of undercooked food is a serious thing. And the other wings that we have are not boneless or something and. They come well done and people have to ask for it and they like them better. And I ordered this thing online like we always do there. Aint no things saying ask for more. Well done chicken, we've never had a problem. I asked him how long he's been manager at the store and he says he was promoted about 5 months ago. Well, it's been about that long since we went there. So we spent $60 on a dinner that I thought was gonna be great like it usually is and my husband did too only.It was terrible and the manager will not fix it .. I told him I was going to call corporate on him and he didn't Seem to care. We Have spent a lot of money at this domino's , but we won't go back not until They fixed this issue and my husband said he went in and was waiting for And the staff was cooking food talking about yeast infections What in the world you don't do this?That's just gross And when I called to speak to the manager the employee said may I ask Why when I asked to speak to the manager and I said no mass speak To the manager, please.And then he put me on hold , I just the whole experience Was terrible.They need to get back the same crew they had and the old manager Friendly professional and he sick stuff when it was wrong And the crew was different, it seems. THE FOOD -Kayla is the BEST there @ this point, b/c theyâre SO-(bless their hearts), incompetent & incomparably clueless-yet THE FOODS GREAT! ONE ISSUE? -The APP!!! -you try to use your piece of the pie rewards and at the same time add some points by ordering other things yet you cannot because they donât have the app correctly set up not even to this day which is pathetic and my viewing. An opinion. For example I tried to order an add a food bowl on two and free pizza that I have and redeemed, and you cannot add nothing to nothing when you go through the app so know that before you even try to add any extra toppings on anything other than a pizza!!!!!!
