Chango Café Dorado — Restaurant in Dorado

Visited "El Chango Cafe", a new Breakfast Cafe in Dorado that not only bakes their own delicious bread but transfroms them into mouth watering succulent breakfasts and sandwhiches that you wont be able to put down.

The locale, is a cozy well appointed eatery located in the town center of Dorado, Puerto Rico. There is seating both inside and "al fresco" on the porch entrance. The Chango is clean and tastefully decorated. The staff is friendly, courteous, and attentive to their customers needs.

I had a humble ham, egg and cheese on "pan de agua" that was fit for a king! It was a perfect combination of crunchy dough, egg and ham, enveloped in just the right amount of goey melted cheese. I rounded it off with a freshly brewed cup of espresso crafted from the best local Puerto Rican coffee.

All the food is masterfully prepared on site by the owner, Chef Kevin. While the wait is not unduly long it is definitely worth it! Ah, and did I mention that the prices are very reasonable. Try it once and you will, without a doubt, return for more... time...
