Lote 646 Dorado — Restaurant in Dorado

I'm glad my wife and I finally checked this place out after its opening earlier this year. Its located on the east side of town by the water treatment plant and canal. There is plenty of easy no hassle parking which is a rarity on the island. We didn't really go there to eat, but ended up ordering the lamb chop on the suggestion of our waitress and were pleasantly surprised by it taste. Our drinks were what we asked for and the attentiveness of our waitress and other staff was awesome. 1 warning I have for any who go here during the evening is wear bug spray! My wife was wearing sandal and a skirt and got destroyed by mosquitos or whatever biting insect there was that night. The proximity to the water is definitely the reason. Visité el lugar viernes en la noche con mi familia y la experiencia fue muy grata. El ambiente familiar, buena atención, apropiado para una cena criolla en familia, así como para disfrutar algunos tragos. Habíamos hecho reservación para 6 personas varios días antes y al momento de nuestra llegada la mesa estaba dispuesta para nosotros. El propio dueño nos recibió y nos atendió muy amistosa y amablemente. El salón es un lugar abierto, fresco y cómodo, y cumpliendo con las disposiciones por el Covid las mesas estaban a una distancia prudente y todo el personal estaba haciendo uso de las mascarillas.

Las bebidas estuvieron muy buenas. El menú es amplio y bien balanceado con carnes y pescados, arroces, ensaladas y variados complementos. Los precios muy accesibles. La comida estuvo lista en un tiempo razonable y todo salió calientito y con buena presentación. La salsa de parcha me encantó. El plato de aperitivos surtidos (carne frita, carne ahumada, tostones, sorullitos, alitas, queso frito, bacalaitos) estuvo delicioso, lo recomiendo 100%.

We visit the 646 location for cocktails and tapas. The business is located near the river in Dorado. The food was fresh. The ambiance was ok, but the music is loud . The foul smell from a nearby something was annoying. In spite of all of the above, the place is always packed with locals . Seems to be the to go place...
