El Mesón Sandwiches — Restaurant in Dorado

I LOVE el Mesón Sandwiches, however, the worst service in the Restaurants from that line that I've ever got is from this particular location. The app Meso Pick Ups, doesn't work the way it was design for this location. Since you made the order and until you arrive and ask for it they won't prepare it for you. Yes an order that you already pay for it. The excuse, "oh that order is printed and not in the monitors" not even empaty. So if you are in a hurry this isn't your best bet. Visited the Dorado store. Very very busy. And short staffed. The young woman at the register was stressed out and appeared overwhelmed. She was not rude or impolite. I ordered coffee drink and I wanted the coffee beans. She did not know the price of the coffee beans. Took a while for her to figure out. And she was a little restless. She told me $12.99 for a small bag of coffee which sounded expensive to me. So I left it and did not purchase. I have eaten at El Meson and their sandwiches are good. Coffee also very good. I will visit again and hopefully this time the experience will be better...

While with Covid-19 restrictions this location and others I visited during my week visit to Puerto Rico are a pleasure to visit. They are on poi t with thier safety protocols and maintain a cozy down home Puerto Rican menu with a modern systematic fast food process. It's hard to believe this chain, which has locations in Orlando now, can maintain a down home ambience while operating in competition with MacDonald's and other large chains. Pa'lante El Meson! Definitely one of my highlights when traveling to the island!...
