La Pachanga, Dorado — Restaurant in Dorado

Had a birthday dinner at this place last week. We had a party of 15. We understand it can be busy and the food took a little time which was fine as long as it arrives. 4 people did not get their food including the birthday girl. We asked the waitress 5 times for her food and all she said was "the kitchen was working on it". we have been asking for the food for about 2 hours. Never gotten it. She ordered nachos. A Very simple dish. We then paid for whatever items we did receive and the waitress said she will at least bring out chips for the birthday girl. Never gotten that neither. They may have issues serving chips of any kind for some reason. The waitress came out with "complementary" bacardi shots "on the house" which i beleive was so obviously watered down and barely had any alcohol in it. I didnt taste any really. I doubt that they would give us 12 shots of bacardi for free so they gave us garbage. We went to Wendy's afterward so the birthday girl could eat something.

DO NOT plan a birthday party here. They cannot handle it. There's other restaurants close by in the Dorado area that could accommodate birthday parties. Even chilis which we did had a birthday party a few days earlier with no...

I personally would not recommend this establishment. To begin, the music was excessively loud. One cannot have a conversation even if they tried yelling. The menu is weak. The appetizers selection wasn’t the best. We had Queso Fondido and it was Meh. We ordered quesadillas and out of the 4 pieces I only ate half of one piece. It lacked taste, it was just bland. I know this establishment isn’t authentic Mexican food but at least give it some flavor and serve it hot because I can’t even say it was warm. Now the service and servers. The hostess when I arrived was busy texting, so I walked right past her and walked in. My waitress went MIA half the time. We had to continue to ask other waiters/waitress for help. From what I noticed, the majority of the waitress and waiters there were very young. Hence the lack of good service. Yes, the establishment is colorful and is spacious but that doesn’t compensate for the lack of good food and decent service. I don’t foresee this place to stick around for too long. The place has a really cute ambiance and decorations. I love all the colors and lights. The hostesses are not the friendliest, which is a bit sad since they're the next faces you see after being patted down by the armed security. The food comes out pretty quickly, which is kinda rare on the island. Service was ok. Our waiter was nice enough but didn't come back to check much on us. The food was also pretty good. The music is a little loud if you'd like to converse with your table mates. They also had a mariachi band the night we were there which was cute. The one thing I didn't like much was the picture sales pitch. You think maybe you're taking a pic for their IG page or for advertising. Later someone comes back to your table with the printed photos in a cheap frame and tries to sell it to you for $20. This review is for my second visit. My first, the wait was so long, we left. One last thing, parking can be really bad on nights when it's crowded. The lot gets full and you have to hope if you park in nearby lots that you don't get towed. Overall,...
