A few things that made this 3 stars instead of 5 is that 1) They open at 12 but didn’t have boba ready by 12:30? That was odd especially for a BOBA place. 2) their menu says it’s .90 for white crystal boba but they charge you $1. Now .10 isn’t anything to argue about but when I brought it up it was just like oh well they must have changed it. I don’t like them not honoring their menu. 3) (and this could be personal) but how was I still charged for special boba when they had NO regular boba and just opened 30 mins prior. No mention of my inconvenience or anything. The only thing saving them is that this place is honestly REALLY good and I’ve been here lots of times but those things definitely didn’t sit right with me.
Update: They were able to put regular boba in one of my drinks but didn’t let me know so I got the special boba in the other. If they knew I only got the white boba because the regular boba wasn’t ready why wouldn’t they let me know that the boba was now ready? Just bad customer service...
Read moreDefinitely a gem! Pearl’s Tea is next to covid-casualty business victim Tasty 21 Mini Hot Pot and in the same shopping center as murder spa and Red Green Brazilian Steakhouse. The teas are so FRESH, robust and aromatic! Roasted oolong is so smooth, nutty, and robust. Cream dream is da bomb - so fluffy, light yet dense if that makes sense. The crystals bobas have the perfect amount of bounce and chew and do not overpower or over-sweet the drink. Fruit teas are flavorful and distinct. Everything tastes exactly like what it is named for. You can taste and also see that the drinks are made with care. The Crème Brulee Cream Dream has a torched caramelized top – so tasty and pretty! The Macha Lattes are so pretty and matcha-smooth tasting. They even have cold brew coffees with a twist. Environmentally friendly too – reusable cups, paper straws and wood spoons. Might be a little bit of a wait sometimes, but well worth it. Go, GO NOW to Pearl’s Tea and try...

The vibe? Cozy, modern, and full of personality—like if your favorite playlist had a storefront. The neon signs, clean layout, and calming energy make it a perfect place to chill, work, or catch up with friends. And yes, it’s spotless (major props for that).
Now let’s talk about the star of the show: I grabbed their Thai Tea with cream cap, and wow. Smooth, rich, and just sweet enough. The tea had that deep orange color you know means it’s legit. It hit all the right notes.
Also, shoutout to the staff—super friendly and quick with recommendations. You can tell they care about the craft and the customers.
If you’re anywhere near Buford Highway, don’t sleep on this spot. Pearl’s Tea just earned...
