I have been a patron of this location for as long it's been in this center at Cottonwood Corners. My family and I eat at least once a week here, until this past weekend. I placed my order online around 6:20 and scheduled to be ready for pick up at 7:00. I pull up at 7:02 and tell the cashier I am there, she then yells to the back and looks and me and said they're starting on your order now. So I wait about 15 minutes for my order, even though I scheduled it for 7:00. When she is bagging it she opens each plate and looks at the receipt and lets me know my order is ready. I get home, which is a 15 minute drive from Goldfingers, and 2 of my 4 plates are wrong. I call back to the restaurant and speak with Sandra. I explained what happened and she told me I need to bring the plates back in and they would make them right. I then explained to her that I live 15 minutes away and I would not be driving back for them to fix what they messed up in the first place, that when we come in over the next few days they could just give it to us then. She then informed me that I would have to bring the plates back or they couldn't do anything. I called back the following Monday and spoke with the GM Tiffany. She was very professional and polite but she said she would have to speak to the owner because they don't do anything unless they have the food. So after a couple of days I hadn't heard from her so I called her back and she said unfortunately the owner said they would only give a .82 refund because of the sauce that was left off. At this point I ask her for the owner's name/email so I could personally speak with them and she said we are not allowed to give that information out. Long story short, we will no longer visit Goldfingers. I work hard for my money, and have spent a lot of money here for the customer service to be as such. I'm sure it will not make a difference to the chain, but if 1 person reads this and keeps them from spending money there then it was worth writing...
Read moreI made a purchase of the 12 piece winger meal with sweet potato fries and 12 piece boneless with sweet potato fries and I was given two 12 piece boneless and this was at 8:40PM and by the time I got home they were closed but John the AM was kind enough to speak with me. He refused to refund my money due to their error,he refused to drop it by my house and I would give him the wrong order back,he stated that I would have to return the full meal and bring the receipt which means I would not have dinner, I asked him to let me take a picture of both plates and he could just refund the difference for the error he refused,I am well aware that Goldfingers is privately owned and asked for the owner's number to contact him but he refused I feel that most of the time this business does a Great job 80% of the time but when they make a mistake they have to correct the error by making the customer happy .I have ate at this location for over the last ten years and every four to six months I have a bad experience and now I am fed up because it is not my fault when the employee gives me the wrong food. For one the guy on the intercom seems incompetent, second... whoever is preparing orders are giving customers whatever they feel not exactly what is offered. I placed an order for 12pc boneless and 12 traditional wings. As I trusted their better judgement, I did not check my order until I got home, which is 20 minutes away from said location. As they provided 2 orders of boneless wings. As this was dinner and no plans to commute again, I attempted to call this location and spoke to who I suspect was a lead. I was informed to bring the meal back for a remake, advised the store that I was not driving back another 20 minutes and would just like the price difference returned (photo of food with receipt would be provided) . Employee blatantly refused stating its policy and only what they can offer, which I find their policy unethical.
