Buena Vista — Restaurant in Double Springs

Wasn't aware that we were charged for chips and salsa, or that we were charged for refills on tea, until we looked at our bill. We asked what we were being charged $2.50 for Three times. But didn't receive any response from cashier. Waitress wasn't friendly at all, acted as though we were bothering her by asking for extra napkins. And I refill on tea.which consisted of getting hot tea poured into glass with no extra ice. Other than all that, The food was awesome. All Mexican restaurants always serve chips and salsa as complimentary for customers . And unless it's soft drinks, tea refills are also free. Wouldn't have known why we were charged $2.50 three times, until reading the reviews. So it's ridiculous being charged $32,00 for an $18. dollar meal with cheese dip and two tea. Definitely have lost our business, And will definitely stop recommending this restaurant to any one passing...

My husband and I happened upon this little restaurant by chance when we were out driving around last Saturday. Often times, we find that the best food doesn't come from a chain or franchise restaurant but from these little hole-in-the-wall places, tucked away. We had the chicken fajitas by the way. A true sign of good Mexican food, in my opinion anyway, is how does the chicken taste when it's brought out? This chicken was marinated and grilled. I don't know if the marinade consisted of something "secret" (I never had the opportunity to ask! Lol) or not but I do know the chicken was moist, tender, and well, delicious! The wait staff was great, too. I don't think my glass of tea ever hit empty. All in all, a good place to get some great food and be served in a quaint little...

Traveling through the area, we thought Mexican food sounded good, so we decided to give Buena Vista a try. We seated ourselves and were waited on within a few minutes. We ordered the Pollo Fundido and the #6 lunch plate, and both enjoyed our food very much. The portions were just right, and our food came out piping hot. We agreed that the beans needed salt, but the rice, chicken, and guacamole were all yummy.
