Sapore Grill — Restaurant in Double Springs

This is a solid 3.5 experience. The restaurant and staff were clean, attentive, and friendly. We were provided 2 half loaves of bread with some herb and oil for dipping. The tea was fresh as it was still warm in my ice. The food was brought out quickly after ordering. We ordered pasta dishes (lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo) and they were quite good. The menu states that they are served with bread, which they were not. The side salad, which is an extra charge, was good with shredded lettuce, fresh bacon pieces, onions, cheese, and croutons. The fried mushroom appetizer was good being served with both ranch and a honey mustard. The main detractor is not being provided what the menu states and no sides are provided with the entrees. The check ended up being around $40.00, which is what we generally spend when going out for dinner. Overall a decent first experience. We plan on returning to try the steak...

We have tried to call in an order by phone and we were turned away. And tonight we arrived at 8:50 granted I know it is close to closing time but they don’t close until 9. I realize this is annoying for staff but I’ve never had any other restaurant turn me away before their actual closing time. This is horrible business and customer service. As a restaurant your sole goal is to please your customers. Well your have really done us dirty twice now and pissed us off. I will be sure to pass hey the word around about you pitiful customer service and selfish attitude. I have always enjoyed your food but it isn’t good enough to treat us like your have. I will I’ll be taking my service Elswhere and I hope others hear me out nd take there business elsewhere too. It pitiful. Do better Sapore. You have been a disgrace o us twice. TURNED AWAY AT 8:15 (OPEN UNTIL 9:00)

My husband, our friend, three young children (ages 7, 6, and 3), and I arrived around 8:15 p.m. to have dinner. The posted hours show that the restaurant closes at 9:00 p.m., but before we even made it fully inside, we were told they weren’t taking any more orders. The hostess at the front was dismissive and unwelcoming.

There were only a few cars in the parking lot and plenty of open tables, so there was no apparent reason to turn customers away with 45 minutes left before closing. After spending hours at the ball field, we were all hungry and disappointed by the experience. We won’t be returning and will be sure to spread the word about experience.
