Harry's Famous Pizza — Restaurant in Douglas

I moved to Douglas about 3 1/2 years ago and never had a problem here before until recently, I placed an order for pick up because I was Going Out And didn't have time to cook so I ordered a chicken Cutlet sub toasted with lettuce,tomato,pickles and mayo to go like I sometimes order and when I got home I started to eat it and noticed that the lettuce didn't taste right so I removed it from my sub and finished eating the sub, I left home and drove to my destination by the time I got to where I was going about an hour later I didn't feel so good and only stayed for about an hour because it felt vomit I was going to vomit, By the time I got home I was vomiting and by morning it was coming out both ends! I had gotten food poisoning and when I reported it to the owner he said I should have called him right away so he could have pinpointed what the problem was He didn't make any apology for what had happened! After about a week of vomiting and diarrhea I had to go to the emergency room and be treated for food poisoning and severe dehydration!!!!!!!! I don't recommend eating there and I'll never go back!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad I can only give one star because I would give this place...

4 stars and the best pizza in Douglas in my and my girlfriend's opinions. This Harry's is our go-to pizza place right now. Give it a shot!

Honestly prices feel a bit high for the pizza size (I'm from Western MA where you get party size for a similar price to Harry's large), but the quality is great, the food is always satisfying, and the prices are comparable with other places in the area. The man who appears to be the owner is extremely kind, personable, and we've never had any negative experiences with the staff. We always pickup so can't comment on the delivery service. I recommend the buffalo chicken or chicken bacon ranch (with fried chicken) pizzas.

Pros - excellent service, tasty pizza, nuff said

Cons - a bit pricey but within reason, no party size (why don't any shops in the greater area sell party size pizzas??), no good discounts (by 4 pizzas get 1 cheese is about it),...

Literally order food from here multiple times a week. For years, today was told that my kid was a liar when they asked for their Buffalo strip dinner to be fixed and made the way they wanted. (Usually it’s tossed in Buffalo, this time on the side. No big deal, easy fix, right?) but instead the man tells them that “they never make it with the sauce on it and they just have to pour it on top” even though we got it last night (their friends liked it that much) so when I called he told me they offered to fix it and my kid said no. So instead of just saying that ‘HE’ doesn’t make it that way and fix it, since we paid for it. He yelled and continued to call us Liars in every kind of possible scenario. Sad that I love the food and have supported this place since friggin high school. So...
