I’ve ordered countless cakes and cupcakes from Lara over the years—for everything from my kids’ birthdays (both for home parties and to take to school) to work events—and she never disappoints! Every item is not only beautifully made but absolutely scrumptious. You can really taste the care and quality in every bite.

What truly sets Dachside apart, though, is the customer service. Lara is always kind, helpful, and accommodating, even with last-minute orders or special requests. There have been times I’ve just suggested an idea and she turned it into a beautiful reality. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her customers and the occasions they’re celebrating.

She is able to make adjustments for dietary restrictions that never detracts from the superior product she puts forth.

Lara is truly something special. From the very beginning, she was thoughtful, easy to communicate with, and completely tuned into our vision. She didn’t just bake for us — she created something that felt personal, beautiful, and seriously delicious.

Our wedding cake and cupcakes were a huge hit. The lemon cake was super fresh, not overly sweet, and had just the right amount of citrus. It was light but still felt special, and it looked amazing too.

The cupcakes were just as good. The champagne and strawberry flavor was really unique and refreshing, the peanut butter and chocolate was rich without being too heavy, and the lemon blueberry was bright and perfectly balanced. Every flavor had its own personality, and guests kept going back for more.

I cannot recommend Dachside Bakery & Lara enough!! Lara has made custom cookies for my wedding, a cake for my grandmothers 90th birthday, and several other cakes/cupcakes for me throughout the years. Everything Lara creates is beautifully decorated and is always SO delicious. Lara is fabulous to work with- always willing to offer flavor and decorating suggestions.
