WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE SINCE I MOVED TO DELAWARE. Yesterday was my son’s birthday. He was visiting from NY and was craving Pizza Hut. I usually pick up from this location so I called ahead to see if they delivered to my house. ROBIN was the person who answered the phone. RUDE. I asked if they delivered here and she snapped I need to know order first. After I told her she said yes. I explained that I needed ordered for 7:30 pm. It was for a party. If it was an issue I would gladly pick up. She handed phone to another girl and I went over whole order again with her and even asked her to read order and address and 7:30 instructions back to me. She assured me she had it all and hung up. I had a bad feeling but was hopeful. 40 minutes later there’s a knock at my door ( 6 pm). I was so upset. My bf was still at work and guests weren’t even here yet. The driver MARQ was Great. I called Robin back and she was extremely rude. Said they were busy. Then said the second girl on phone forgot to write down the time. Then said they couldn’t remake because there’s no pizza shells. UNREAL. I was ready to cry $56 for nothing. She told me there’s nothing she can do. Eat the pizza and hung up on me. MARQ was so understanding and said he would try to work on something and call me and let me know if he could help me out. He didn’t call… instead at 7:40 he returned to my house with fresh pizzas that he said he personally made. (Wasn’t same order but I appreciated him)And all the sauces that I paid for the first time and never received. I tried to call manager several times today and they put me on hold before I can say a word. I HOPE PEOPLE READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE THEY DECIDE TO ORDER. WILL SAVE YOU THE HEADACHE. I also hope corporate/owners see this and do 2 things…1) seriously observe their staff and acknowledge how rude they are and deal w/ them accordingly. 2). I PRAY MARQ GETS A RAISE/PROMOTION. SOMETHING. HE SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY PERSON WITH MANNERS AND RESPECT. I wish I could hire him for something. He was that awesome… I even gave him a hug. I was in tears by the second time he came. MARQ I appreciate you. You saved my sons Birthday. Sorry for the long rant. Had to put it somewhere since I can’t get ahold of management and they haven’t called me today,as requested....

I live in Felton so after placing my order at 815 stopping for gas then getting to the store on Lebanon Rd I get out of my truck to locked doors that say the store has been closed since 8pm. Then they should have shut the website down right? Not allow me to order then have to find my kids something else to eat this much later. It gets better, so I call the store phone cause there is cars there and a light on and a mgr answered I told her what I had just been thru and she says well someone tried to call you I said I don't answer my phone while driving especially at night time. She says she understood and that since I've been through all this she is giving me a 50dollar credit on my account. She also said the store mgr gave me 70 dollars credit as well so it is equal to 120 dollars I said that's great thanks a lot. Something told me to call and verify the credit this morning and so lady answered the phone I gave her my number and told her what happened she says my money has been refunded I said that's impossible I didn't pay with a card I always paid in store. I retold her the story and she is like No she can't do that and she is off today so I won't even call her to ask what happened until later on but if you paid online your money has been refunded if you pay in the store we don't owe you anything. I said wait I didn't tell the mgr your GOING to give me this. She understood that I went thru allot all because your website allowed me to place a order when it should have clearly been updated to stop taking orders because the store is closed. She gets loud tells me she is not arguing about it all day with me and hangs up on me. My family it's pizza hut twice a week. It's a shame they can't get more honest RESPECTFUL people. Read moreI have lived at my current location going on 3 years. Normally I order from this pizza hut because it is right around the corner. Out of all of the times I have ordered, there has been a grand total of 1 bad experience.
Every time I have called in, or ordered online, the pizza arrived really fast, except that one bad experience, but I will cover that in a moment. I actually placed an order a few weeks ago, and knew I had a 15 minute drive before I got to my house, so I planned it so that I would arrive before the pizza could. 14 minutes later, the driver was on my door step, standing in the rain, patiently waiting for me to come to the door.
The delivery drivers are always very nice, and make sure to review the order and ask if there is anything else I need before they leave.
So, the one bad experience. That was definitely a website glitch on a busy night. Delivery showed 45 minutes approximately. After an hour, I called the customer service line, and they gave me a code for a free pizza, and apologized. Called the store after an hour and a half, and they profusely apologized, and said that they had been slammed and deliveries were taking well over two hours from the time of order, and they were trying. Sure enough, just after 2 hours, the pizza shows up with a delivery driver that is extremely apologetic and asks me to make sure the pizza is correct before he raced off to the next house.
