Great China — Restaurant in Dover

My favorite Chinese-American spot. The food is always fresh it tastes like it was made with love! BUT I have to complain because I called one day and asked for delivery, even though I stay in a development close by the restaurant, the Chinese man who answered after I gave him my address said (along these lines) "so you can't come pick it up?" with an attitude! I explained to him that I didn't have the car at the moment because I stay in a one car household. Then he sighed and was like "ok." First, if you offer delivery why should it matter if I stay close by and I shouldn't of had to explain myself to him. If you don't like delivering to near by neighborhoods then maybe you should advertise it but don't make me feel guilty for not having a means of transportation to come pick it up. Other than that, I still love the food! Just be more courteous to customers on the phone because you don't know what others are going through, I just wanted some good Chinese food...

I ordered a large sweet and sour chicken and I can confidently say I will not eat here again. The chicken was overcooked, it was dark brown and SO crispy it wasn’t even enjoyable to eat. The flavor was off. The sauce amount is definitely smaller than other restaurants. The white rice might be the only saving grace of this entire meal. I stopped eating the chicken halfway through and had to just eat the rice for lunch, I was going to save half for dinner but the chicken was practically inedible. A waste of nearly 14 dollars. Also, there was no fortune cookie. Im not sure if this restaurant does not do that, but it seems to come pretty standard with Chinese food so I was surprised when I didn’t receive one. Everyone love a good Chinese spot! 3years ago this was mine. I stopped going because they change the way they cooked there rice and it was always dry also when asking for extra sauce packets I received attitude it’s almost like they new it was me and I’d be asking for extra packets yet again. Yesterday was an rather exhausting day and I really wanted Chinese so I ordered Lo mein with my chicken instead of rice. I ordered my food at 6:59 they said 45mins I called at 8:14 inquiring about my order the young man said it was not yet ready. I then asked about any type of accommodation the young man said we can’t help when the food is ready However when it comes to you it will be hot.
