My daughter's special moment was stolen from her because I ordered a custom cake from this bakery. I was charged extra after she informed me that the cake wouldn't serve 25 to 30 people, which was my original request along with the inspiration I provided. The only other information she provided was that she wouldn't be able to create the acrylic name sign and I went ahead and ordered it from Etsy. She charged me $150. After I made the payment, I asked her about the flavors she offered. However, she never replied and went ahead to bake a vanilla cake herself without checking with me. When I inquired about it, she explained that she assumed it was the holidays and that I was busy, so she thought I wouldn’t reply and didn't want to bother me. On the day of pickup, we arrived to find a small cake decorated with bright pink icing and pink roses that were beginning to wilt. It’s worth noting that the cake had been made the day before and had been sitting in the fridge and was cold. Who puts fresh flowers in the fridge? The person we met was only there to pick up an order and said she couldn’t help us. She had nothing to do with the cake we showed her. When we explained what we had ordered and what was sitting in front of us, she said she understood why we were upset. She tried calling her, and we also attempted to reach her. She informed us that she had a family emergency and wouldn't be able to answer but would call back in an hour. I requested a refund, and she stated that she would only refund half since she spent time making the cake. I insisted on a full refund, and she agreed to send it. I informed her that I needed a receipt confirming that the refund had been processed. As of today, I still haven't received it, and she hasn't responded to any of my messages. I wish I could share the text messages and details about my order and what I received from this bakery versus what I ordered. As a result, I had to call my credit card company to start a dispute. We all own businesses and should not mistreat others. If you cannot fulfill an order, simply say no and avoid taking it. This says a lot about your character. You won’t achieve success by conducting business this way.
And to the response you just wrote is a lie. You are a very dishonest person. I have attached these screenshots that I poster with my dispute with my bank since you refused to give me a refund. Let’s say you were the customer that ordered this cake from my bakery will you be happy with the product and service you received? I don’t think so. What I ordered and what I received look nothing alike plus what I was charged for it. I’m sure you will continue to conduct business this way because you’re not sorry. All the best with...
Read moreOrdering a cake from that bakery was a horrible mistake and I highly recommend that everyone do their research first, before potentially experiencing a major disappointment on a big day like I have. I placed my cake order about a week in advance and they assured me I would be able to stop by after work to pick it up (4:30pm). The day I was supposed to pick up the cake, they called me and said they NEED me to come pick it up sooner because the owner would be closing the bakery a few hours early for personal reasons. The short notice was a huge inconvenience for me because I was forced to leave in the middle of the work day to pay for the cake. When I got there, staff didn't seem apologetic at all and the girl told me the cake would be ready in "a couple of hours." I couldn't leave work again and had a friend pick up the cake for me a couple hours later, per their request. When she got there, staff was very rude to her, telling her they never said the cake was ready for pick up yet and that she had to wait. When the cake was finally ready, it was placed in a box that was designed for a much shorter cake. It was half open, exposing it to dirt and air for the next few hours of the day. Because the cake barely fit in the box, they attempted to halfway close it and as a result, half the icing came off the side of the cake that was pressing against the cover of the box. As if that wasn't bad enough, the design wasn't even close to what I had requested and looked as if a 7th grader attempted to do it. Despite all this I was hoping the cake at least met my expectations for taste, but at that point I wasn't shocked that it tasted as bad as it looked and we ended up throwing it out and picking up a cake from Acme. It was clear they rushed through it and put very little effort into making it . My whole experience was a mess and it definitely wasn't worth all the hassle and inconvenience they put me through. Their lack of professionalism and careless attitude was unacceptable. It is quite clear that they expect the customer to work around them. I would never go back again if they were the only...

Last year I contacted Tiffanee to make my daughter's birthday cake. It was a complete disaster. There was a severe lack of communication in the weeks leading up to the party. I reached out to her the day before to ask when I should pick the cake up and she indicated at 10 the next morning (daughter's party started at 12). The next morning she messaged me and asked if we could move pick up to 11. I said okay; however, when I checked in just before 11 I received no response. I went out to a local grocery store and bought a cake and cupcakes, just in case. After 11 I received a message from her saying I could come pick it up. When I got there, the cake wasn't remotely what we had discussed and had paid for. The gluten free cake pops I had ordered were dipped in pink after I had specified that they could not have red dye (the worker didn't understand that pink was made from red). Those had to be redone. It was now well after 12 and I was standing in the bakery. She said they would deliver the cake pops. The cake didn't make it out of the parking lot before one of the plastic ponies she haphazardly put on fell off. The ponies that were supposed to be made of fondant. They aren't even the correct ponies that were had talked about.
I figured that the taste HAD to redeem the appearance. Unfortunately, it was so far from good. There was barely any icing in the middle and it read clear she simply stacked 2 cakes on top of each other without leveling or evening them out. The kids wanted the grocery store cupcakes because the cake was so bad. I contacted her after the party and indicated I wanted to discuss things once her family life settled down. She agreed that it was not the product we agreed on and that represented her best work. I checked in at least twice after that and she ignored me and has not done a single thing to try to remedy the situation or refund a single cent. I've given her since August 13, 2022 to do the right thing. She's done nothing.
