Roma Pizza — Restaurant in Dover

We placed an order for delivery: gyro platter and mozzarella sticks. We were told to expect arrival no later than 30 minutes. More than an hour later, we called to check on our order. The lady informed us that she had just sent our order out for delivery after she realized it had been sitting for over an hour. She then said it would be another 30 minutes for delivery. She was rude and not apologetic at all. Half an hour later, it arrived. Cold, gross, and not fresh.

We had to accept the order because we were working late at the office and had no other option for dinner. We called again and calmly explained the unsatisfactory situation. The man claiming to be the "manager" was very short with me. He sounded very preoccupied. He did not understand my enunciated American English. He asked me to repeat myself several times before he abruptly hung up.

It pains me to write negative reviews. I always try to make a point in giving good reviews when deserved. I tip 20% minimum for good service. This * service was...

BEWARE OF FRAUD!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I GIVE THEM NO STARS!!!!!! I have been a loyal customer since moving to Dover. I order pizza every weekend for my kids. I recently called in to the store and placed an order for $39.95 via my credit card. I checked my account the next day and saw that Roma charged my card 4 times!!!!! I immediately called them to fix this and spoke to the "manager". He said he didn't know why this happened and took my information to give to the owner. The owner never called me. I called again the next day and spoke to the "manager". He said the owner would again call me back. I never got a call. The "manager" was the one who took my order over the phone and charged my card. If you made the mistake and you are the "manager", why can't you refund my money of $119.85??? This store has shady characters working there and I believe they are committing fraud using people's credit cards. DO NOT PAY USING YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THIS PLACE! BETTER YET ORDER FROM ANOTHER TRUSTWORTHY...

Let me say that when I first got food from here it was good until they started messing my food up. My family always spend 30+ for food from them, but this is ridiculous that they send food that they cook right when you order and then have the nerve to tell you fortyfive min to an hour so by the time I get my food it's old and cold remind you not temp to correct temperature...major mistake this can cause illness so I will report that. Also didn't even deliver the correct food......SORRY BUT NOT SORRY TO SAY I WILL NOT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY MORE OF MY BUSINESS AND ALSO THE STAFF IS VERY RUDE AND NASTY.......By the way if you know food temp guidelines you would know that beef should be cooked to 165 degree's before it can be served and trust me I know so if anyone gets sick sue and also a whole thirty+ dollars down the drain.....o yea I had to throw that in the trash and never again will they get my family's...
