Summary: A great place to go for tasty tacos! Loved their steak and pulled pork tacos! Street parking. Charge more for credit cards. Dining furniture is bulky and awkward to sit in.
My husband and I visited this place for the first time the other night. We ordered their Steak and pulled (fried) pork tacos. The steak came in an order of 4 tacos for $11.50 and the pulled pork came in an order of 5 for $11.50. Coming out of the kitchen are just the flour tortillas with the meats on them. They were nothing special. Better to stick with the Jarritos sodas next time.
When the check came, they had 2 different totals listed: cash or credit. They pretty much put it on the customer to pay for the merchant credit fee. The food is absolutely amazing – some of the best Mexican I've had in the area. Everything is cooked fresh and bursting with flavor. And the best part? The prices are incredibly affordable! You get amazing quality without breaking the bank.
But it's not just the food that makes this place special. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. During our last visit, our waitress Dinora was fantastic. She was attentive, kind, and made sure we had a wonderful experience.

Read moreMy wife and I were looking for a Mexican restaurant and we stumbled on this place. O-M-G.... best Mexican I have had in a very long time.
Flavor was excellent and as many others have mentioned they have wonderful toppings and Salsa buffet.
We ordered the Guacamole. Taste was a 10!
I had 5 Tacos al Pastur. The arrived plain and I dove into the toppings and Salsa. Could not have asked for anything better.
My wife had a 4 taco plate with 2 of one kind and 2 of another. She is not a big fan of Mexican food but she loved it.
We were there on a Sunday. It was crowded. Lots of people picking up orders to go and all the tables full. But we only had to wait 10 minutes or so. Well worth it.
I can't wait to go back and try their Menudo and the Tortas.
100% hands down best Mexican in NJ (that i have found).
Will be going back and I...
