Went in a little nervous after reading the mixed reviews. No diners on a Tuesday night but a few bar patrons. Sat at a table in the bar and the bar tender came right over. Friendly older guy possibly the owner. Mai tais were good, not all juice but not so much rum you stumble around wearing a lampshade on your head after 2. Food came out hot and not greasy. Chicken fingers were seasoned well and not all batter which is tough to find today. Rangoon had crab in them and were savory not sweet (I don't like sweet ones). Was a great to find a large selection of "build your own" platter items. Added gyoza to the plate and those were crispy and good flavor. Fried rice was perfect texture and color. General chicken was ok. I would have preferred a little spice and maybe a bit more salt but def passed the test. The bar tender checked in a few times and joked around. Def will come back. Read moreI have not had Chinese food as good as that for a very long time. The rice was hot, moist, full of pork and overall very tasty. Chicken fingers perfect, spring roll perfect, crab rangoon actually stuffed enough so you could taste the filling and it was excellent. Slightly disappointed with the boneless ribs a little overcooked. But I will definitely be back. Our waitress was doing the bar in the floor and did a wonderful job. When I told her how wonderful food was she said she was so so happy to hear that we were happy! See...
Read moreAbsolutely filthy, she told us seat ourselves “anywhere”… tables were filthy asked me if I wanted to start with a drink, I asked her for a napkin to wipe the table. She came asked me if I wanted to start with some water as she watched me wipe the crumbs into a pile. Floors looked filthy, it’s dark and gives biker towny energy.
I’ve never walked out of a place before. But we actually left when she went to get our waters.z I felt bad because I wouldn’t do that but YIKES....
